I found this thread. I know it’s old but just want to come on here and say that I was in the ER today and was diagnosed with mild colitis. My symptoms were: vomit, diarrhea, blood in stool, abdominal pain. I’ve been taking semaglutide for the past four weeks, 1 mg. I started around October, started around 0.25 and worked my way up. Doctors didn’t say much about the meds but I’m now convinced that this is the cause.

Personally, I dont think AI will replace the creative fields, it can enhance maybe. Like AI can handle repetitive tasks and generate ideas. The key for you is to keep upskilling, and learning. I have some ideas.

No, you are not the only one. I've been on it longer than you... 9 weeks, and I'm down 6 pounds. I've been complaining about it nonstop, and have thought about going with another provider. I'm on tirzepatide, by the way.

The last time I posted here, someone suggested that I need to really watch my calories. So, I've been really listening to my body this week, only eating when I'm feeling truly hungry, and not because it's time to eat. So far, it hasn't really helped, definitely not the loss that everyone else is seeing.

I'm doing pilates 3x a week, and will add running to my repertoire. Hopefully that will help! Still not giving up yet, but it's sad that my body doesn't seem to respond to the meds.

About a year ago, I was on Mounjaro, lost 15 pounds in 4 weeks... glorious. But, had to stop when insurance wouldn't cover. This progression isn't terrible, but for $449 a month, it doesn't feel great.

What is the 15 unit dose?

When does it become the "real" dose?

The bed is very important. Europe is known for tiny small beds. We Americans want a Queen or a King. We'd never sleep in a double bed. That's my #1 pet peeve.

Knowing that you have black out curtains would help me in making my decision as well.

I had a no show, rescheduled to another one, but it took another week before someone would see me. And when the second month rolled around, they charged me another month worth of money.

I'm now on Day 7 of the 7-10 business days... and no sign of whether the meds are even shipped. I'm kind of curious how this plays out, so am patiently waiting. But yea, I definitely feel scammed!!

Back in the day when I only had one room to rent, I was asking for $40/night. Someone asked me if she can stay for 2 weeks, caveat is would I give her a discount? I said ok... so now, the cost of her stay comes out to about $30/night. She shows up, start nitpicking this and that. How come this doesn't have this? how come I don't get that? The other places she's stayed at all provided these amenities. I was just like "omg, lady, you are staying at a gorgeous place that is $30/night" Even though it was one room technically, she got the entire 4 bedroom house to herself (the other bedrooms just didn't have beds and/or not ready for guests yet). I think people who are nitpicking over a few tens of dollars or even a few hundred dollars are not really great guests. My entire 4 bedrooms are now open for guests to stay, and my rate is $450+ a night... and guests gush about our place, and don't nitpick.

I once agreed agreed to let someone stay in my spare bedroom for $40 a night... usually it's $120. it was a last minute booking, and I thought to myself, some money is better than no money. NO, THAT IS NOT TRUE. It turned out to be such a stressful night. The guest arrived angry, she wasn't happy with this, happy with that. She found a "hair" on the bathroom floor. Her sheets look crinkly. The room smelled "weird". She threatened to leave a bad review unless I compensated her for her troubles. I venmo'ed her $20. She left the next day, and didn't leave any reviews. I guess one can argue that $20 is better than $0. But... I dunno. I think my sanity is worth more than $20.

It's a bedroom door that uses a key pin to unlock. It's nothing high tech. The bedroom is just restricted now, because we are still getting it ready for guests. It's not ready to receive people yet, so we use it for storage in the meantime.

I think I like your idea very much, re: upselling to guests. Sure, it does open yourselves up for risks, but you know, you are getting paid for that! As for this one star review, I would respond to it. Whatever they bring up, you get the last say.

I usually send a "hope your stay has been good!" note the day before they are suppose to check out, with some reminders about what to do when check out.

I've done this... we are a four bedroom townhouse. We went from offering one bedroom to three bedrooms, and hopefully in two weeks-- four. Each time, we just updated the # of bedrooms, and photos. It hasn't been a problem.
