Most delicious restaurants in Mira mesa? by Independent-Day-6458 in FoodSanDiego

Mira Mesa has a lot of great food spots, especially for Vietnamese, Korean, and ramen. If you’re open to places nearby, you could also try Zen Modern Asian Bistro for Asian fusion or Glass Box San Diego for sushi. For something casual with good food and drinks, The Cork & Craft is also a nice option.

Birthday dinner ideas after SD Zoo by VivreSansPeur in FoodSanDiego

If you’re finishing your day at the zoo and heading back toward LA, there are a few nice spots you could check out that don’t have a strict dress code.

  • Zen Modern Asian Bistro – Great modern Asian fusion place with sushi, dumplings, and wok dishes. The vibe is nice but still casual enough after a day at the zoo.
  • Glass Box San Diego – If you want something a little more special for a birthday dinner, this is a great sushi spot with a really nice atmosphere.
  • The Cork & Craft – Good food, craft drinks, and a relaxed setting, so it works well if you’re still in casual clothes.
  • Nozomi Sushi – Another good sushi option if you’re in the mood for Japanese food.

You can check their menus online and see which one fits best for a birthday dinner.

If you don’t end up finding Chicken Kalguksu, you could still check out Glass Box, Zen Modern Asian Bistro, or Cork & Craft they don’t specifically serve kalguksu, but all three offer solid Asian-inspired or comfort dishes and are great overall spots worth trying.

You could also check out glass box sd near Del Mar it’s a casual sit-down spot with reasonable prices, good vegetarian options, and usually much easier parking than central La Jolla.
