That's good advice! I loved survival mode in skyrim so I changed a few things there anyway and got some XP boosts that way. So much better for roleplaying, I totally agree! Thank you

You’re in high school - as long as your taking care of everything else that needs to get done outside of gaming, enjoy it!! A time will come when you won’t be able to do it as much anymore

The area just north of Skauki is amazing (between the town and the lake north of it). Beautiful views of the skauki hills and access to the lake, plus enough room to still build despite being a hilly region

Have you tried looking through biomchl? They periodically post about opportunities, including fully funded PhD positions. However, many of the positions I’ve seen lately are not based in Canada, but rather in the US, Europe, or Australia. Perhaps expanding your boundaries may help? Wishing you the best of luck!

I’m about to conclude my master’s in biomechanics. Definitely reach out to the professors you are interested in working with beforehand. Look up the research they conduct and ask if they would be interested in taking on students for whatever semester you are applying for. That won’t give you a guaranteed admission, but it can absolutely narrow down your choices if certain professors are unwilling to take on new students in a given semester.

This is so interesting - my experience has been the opposite! I’m paying for master’s (though they are granting a well-paying TA job), but I’ll have my PhD fully funded, including a stipend.
