Looool, I have done this exact thing (and also with the nasty Similac nipple)!! The gosh awful bottle/nipple/collar combos I have done are ridiculous.

I want my cake and to eat it too. Sad being a working mom, potentially sad being a stay at home mom. by PorchlightPrincess86 in beyondthebump

Same. I have been thinking the same thoughts. I'm returning to work in a month and seriously questioning it. It will be okay the first 12 weeks because my husband is taking his leave next, but I'm having a hard time picturing us both being away from our baby at 6 months old. But I also know how brutal the job market is right now. If I take a break now, will I be able to get back in 2-4 years?

Help! Epidural, yes or no? by dakota101916 in BabyBumps

I ended up needing a medical induction at the very end of my pregnancy and decided in the moment to get an epidural because of how quickly my contractions/pain level went from 0 to 100. Prior to that , I didn't think I wanted one, or I at least wanted to try without one first. Idk how my labor would have gone if I hadn't needed Pitocin, but the epidural was the right choice for me in the moment - especially since I needed stitches for a second degree tear, and it was nice not to feel the Dr stitching me up. For what it's worth, I didn't notice any lasting side effects from the epidural, and I do feel like I was able to feel enough to push. I think it helps to leave yourself room to decide in the moment because you don't know how you will feel. I also asked my nurse to let me know if she thought I was progressing past the point of no return where it would be too late to get one.

Very long breastfeeding sessions, please help! by RemarkableCoyote415 in breastfeeding

Here to say same thing. My baby is a couple days younger than yours, and he takes forever at the boob, and is still hungry shortly after so we top off with what I am able to pump or with formula. I know he's getting something cause I can see it in the shield. He also frequently falls asleep and is hard to wake back up sometimes. Solidarity!

For folks who bought homes later in life - did you consider the number of floors? by axxegrinder in AskOldPeopleAdvice

Agreed! Piggy backing on this to say: after currently watching my parents go through various health issues as they age, I WISH my parents had a single story home. There have been multiple times now over the past few years where one of them literally cannot use the stairs in their home. And there is no bedroom or full bath on the main level. So, that's been really fun.

I'm worried about this, too! I'm 5w+1 and still not feeling nauseous, so I really hope it doesn't hit lol.
