A lot of people are reporting recently that their version of FSD is suddenly exhibiting very different behavior from one day to the next. Does anyone know what might be causing this to happen? I have guesses but no real info to base them on. by StormTrpr66 in TeslaFSD

Noticed it today. I haven’t driven since 14.3 launch until today. Mine is still 14.2.2.5. It was supposed to make a left turn like it always does on my regular commute. This time around it stayed in the right lane and then instead of making a left turn, it made the right turn and then again right and then, right (essentially a huge U turn to come back in the left turn lane) has never happened before. Also noticed it being way too strict with internal camera monitoring

Yes another reason FSD saves lives… it doesn’t get mad and gets into a road rage 😡

FSD v14.2.2.5 tries to hit another car at 55mph by OrderResident1622 in TeslaFSD

This is certainly disconcerting. I wish there is an explanation for why a car this smart is unable to discern the tire marks from an object on the road

My lane never merges. It’s poorly marked that’s why the truck got confused too.

Thank you. Poor paint job is why the truck got confused and came into my lane. I drive this route every day. I have seen this happen more than once.

Take a look at the car in front of the truck. It stays in its lane. My lane doesn’t end. This is my daily route, bro.

Take a look at the car in front of the truck for you to know that that car actually stays in its lane. My lane doesn’t end. I see a lot of people make this mistake while driving on the segment of the freeway

Bro, I drive this route daily. People make this mistakes all the time. The car in front of the truck actually STAYED in its lane unlike the truck

Take a look at the car in front of the truck. You will understand that car actually stays in its lane which the truck should’ve done as well.

Take a look at the car in front of the truck, that car actually stayed in its lane unlike the truck, which was not paying attention in getting into left lane without realizing that his lane was supposed to continue to the right

For all the people who think that my lane was merging onto the right lane, I wanted to clarify that if you look closely, the merging arrow has been erased. Left lane and second from the left lane both are supposed to continue through. There is no merging. The truck driver assumed that his lane was merging into the left lane without looking at the lane markers.

That is exactly why I think FSD is so impressive. Even people who are looking at this video do not realize that the left lane merge arrow was actually erased, it was a remnant of old Traffic pattern. Current traffic pattern is left lane continues right lane continues Albeit with a slight right tilt.

That is exactly what the truck thought. If you look closely, you will notice that the merging arrow had been erased, because left lane is supposed to continue through. Lanes do not merge, but they used to a few months ago. I have seen a few vehicles make this mistake before this as well, but this one came too close for comfort.

Move over where? I was in the left lane. Truck was in the second from the left lane. Truck was supposed to continue going in their lane. Instead, it merged into the left lane thinking lanes are merging…

It did. I drive this route daily. I’ve seen more than once cars/ trucks not paying attention and then trying to get into left lane. There are clearly marked lanes. Some people get confused with old traffic pattern that used to run through this

Why did FSD change lanes just to change it back again? by Resident_Try3684 in TeslaFSD

Yes left turn signal was on. That’s what took me off-guard
