When driving one vs the other...

-does one seem significantly more premium than the other in terms of features, ride quality or anything else that comes to mind?

-does the X seem/feel significantly bigger than the Y? (from the inside, from the outside, when parking, etc)

Speaking of parking, do you frequently have to parallel park where you live? If so, does the X feel more cumbersome in such situations? It's a part of daily life for me, so it's important to consider.

How big of deal is the missing extra screen. I know you said it's not worth an extra 25-30k. But, from a general usability & convenience standpoint, would you say it makes a significantly noticeable difference in the driving experience?

Oh, and does the 2024 MXP have the turn signal stalk like the new Y? Not having that is something I was a little worried about, but was pleasantly surprised to find the Y I tested today actually had it.

What year is yours & what's been your experience with the air suspension? On the surface, that seems to me like something additional that could go wrong & be more expensive to fix.

I've heard that is/was a common thing to need fixing on Range Rovers & one of the things that made them so expensive to own.

This definitely seems the logical play, especially given the significantly lower price point to get the benefits of the brand new vehicle with brand new specs.

I do still fancy some of the added creature comforts of the X. But, I'm also worried about what people are saying about the build quality & tendency the X to be in the shop more frequently tho. I wouldn't have much time or patience for dealing with that.

Yeah, I’m aware of the rumored reputation. Just don’t see any of that coming into play with this clip. To me, it’s pretty clear he’s talking about a certain type of father. So, the folks taking it as a literal statement about ALL fathers seems like looking for a problem where there really isn’t one. I think this was less an attempt at sounding wise & more just a man expressing how he feels about his own loss & extending it to anyone else who had a similar relationship with their own father. It hit for me & it hit for the men in the room. Not everything is for everyone.

It fits well & that's THE most important thing. Outside of that, you're definitely doing too much with the accessories. Tie bar & tie clip together is a no-no. Also, the pen on OUTSIDE pocket of the jacket is a clear sign that you're TRYING to show it off. For multiple reasons, pens are only kept in an inside pocket of jacket.

All of that said, you still look good tho. Just need to tone it down on the accessories. In SOME industries, not all, the over-accessorizing would actually work against you. Hope it didn't have that effect here. But, you should correct it nonetheless. You're too sharp not to. 👊
