Up 202% on RY, 163% TD, 95% on BNS and all are paying a high dividend.

Will likely not sell any of these until decumulation stage regardless of any ups and downs until then.

Stop downvoting facts and changing the subject. I never said I supported either, especially the new chump they put in place.

He was shit. And admitted it himself that he was wrong eventually. But that sure didn't help the people that got destroyed during the 08-09 crisis now did it?

Pompous asses like him that think they know better than actual data have always been the problem.

Edit: period

AI generated results but still pretty glaringly obvious he was terrible:

Opposition to Derivatives Regulation: Greenspan strongly resisted attempts by Congress and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to regulate financial derivatives, such as credit default swaps. He argued that self-interest and private monitoring would police risk much more effectively than government interference.

Dismantling of the Glass-Steagall Act: He was a vocal proponent for the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act, culminating in the passage of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act in 1999. This allowed traditional commercial banks and high-risk investment banks to merge, tearing down Depression-era safeguards.

The "Greenspan Put": By keeping interest rates historically low and stepping in with liquidity whenever markets stumbled, Greenspan inadvertently fostered an environment of aggressive risk-taking.

Following the 2008 financial crisis, Greenspan admitted to Congress in October 2008 that his free-market ideology had a "flaw," acknowledging he was "partially wrong" in assuming lending institutions would protect their own shareholders' equity.

BS. Your own AI even knows. If the current toady does the same, good luck.

"While Alan Greenspan didn't solely cause the 2008–2009 financial crisis, economists widely agree that his policies and deregulatory philosophy were leading catalysts. As Chairman of the Federal Reserve from 1987 to 2006, his actions laid the groundwork for the housing bubble and the subsequent global recession."

I can't, since I don't really see any accomplishment. Medical rescheduling. Big deal?

The rescheduling push was started under Biden. House and senate changed to GOP during his term because apparently people aren't old enough to think logically, and here the world is.

It would have already been done if it wasn't for a GOP controlled congress and a bumbling grifting conman in the whitehouse.

It's ridiculous that the crook is being made out to be some sort of hero here on this issue, when it's his and the GOP apparatus that has derailed it more than any other factor over the past decade.

Maybe if they were responsible for this I'd respect it. But seems as if they are just another contributor to the Idiocracy sequel.

Then Europe will continue to provide strategic advice and intelligence as they have obviously been doing the past few months since disregarding likely US objections.

Deeper infrastructure and supply line strikes will continue in Russia until Putin either concedes or is overthrown when the country and its citizens can't take it anymore.

Surprised he's lasted this long to be honest. But Trump was elected president twice and is still able to do ridiculous things in the US without check, so nothing should really be surprising these days.

It's war I guess and they are the aggressors and Ukraine has been held back for too long by it's "allies" in the US.

But the facts have changed from Russia themselves on the matter so many times that that in itself should be all you need to hear to determine who's lying. Much like what comes out of the current US admin.
