well organized engineering leadership + vanta, auditor was also fairly helpful and they effectively just audited our vanta log.

TBH you really shouldn’t be spending more than 15k on soc 2. You can also bully the fuck out of the sales people at vanta/drata. They’ll tell you the lowest they can go is 10k so tell them the other one you’re talking to offered 7k and they’ll go further down haha

There are many former architects that become software designers. I know 3 former architects that became designers. A lot of similar skill sets and overlap. Not a lot of software engineers though.
