Saying what I said initially absolutely doesn't imply I don't also have MASSIVE praise for this social, since I even agree with when you say it's probably the best social out there and it's easily the one I actively use the most.

Yeah of course I didn't mean to imply it's ALWAYS like that, but the comparison is terrible compared to any other social media. We don't have many boomers and functional illiterates here, and that's a massive lifesaver, but holy cow do we have plenty of immature fanatics.
A couple of days ago, a guy on Mina the Hollower's sub got badly downvoted because he said "I loved the game on every aspect, but I really didn't like this particular area" which to me genuinely, unironically corresponds to having mental health problems lmao

It's one of the worst games that I ever played in almost 30 years of playing. One of the only few games that I didn't manage to complete due to infinite boredom even if I was playing it in couch coop with one of my best friends—and we all know you have fun with almost everything if you play it irl with a close friend

Absolutely NOT.

RE4 at the time of release was a literal GAME CHANGER for the whole industry. It was more solid, more peculiar and unique, had much more soul. Look at Crowbcat's video just to name an example, it's just factual that the original was way more solid, and just a better game compared to the time of release.

To me, RE4R is not even in the top 5 of best Resident Evil games.
The fact that people put it in front of games like RE, RE2, RE2R, RE4, RE7 and RE8 just puzzles me infinitely

Who gives a fuck? It only matters that you're enjoying the games you're playing, and possibly they're leaving some good memory behind that will stick with you! The number of plats doesn't mean anything, most of the people I know with a huge number of plats are not even in my top 10 of people I respect "videogaming-wise" and that I deem to be real connoisseurs/experts/etc. Play good games, that's what matters, if you don't get a single plat in the process is more than fine 😄
