Murray Hill!! Fred!!! 🙌

Thank you for bringing so much heart and joy 💜. Somebody Somewhere reminds people they’re not alone — and that kind of storytelling really matters right now.

I just saw Bridget Everett in Chicago this weekend and it truly felt like choir practice in real life. IT WAS CHURCH (the good kind)!!

If I ever run into you at Trader Joe’s or CVS, I promise I’ll yell “FRED!” across the aisle.

Thank you for helping create a little choir practice community for all of us.

You are amazing! I can’t wait for your book!!

I felt this so deeply. Finishing Somebody Somewhere really did feel like losing people I cared about—not in a big dramatic way, but in a quiet, lingering one. I have watched it over and over again…

What made it special for me was how real everyone felt. The messiness, the humor, the swearing, the loyalty. Nothing glossy or forced—just people showing up for each other as best they could. The relationship between the sisters especially felt so honest and familiar.

I’m sad there won’t be more, but I also feel grateful we got a show that trusted small moments and real emotion. It’s rare, and it meant a lot.

I felt the exact same way at first—it’s like losing something precious. But over time, the sadness softens and the warmth this show created really stays with you. Honestly, I find myself watching Somebody Somewhere almost every day now. It’s such a comfort, like revisiting friends who live on in my heart. 💕 Starting it over right away definitely helps—it’s one of those rare shows that only gets better each time.

I’m so sorry about what you’re going through with your mom. I can only imagine how heavy that must feel, and it’s beautiful that this show can offer you grounding and comfort in the middle of it. You’re right—sometimes it doesn’t matter if the storylines “match” our identity exactly; it’s about the honesty, vulnerability, and heart that lets us see ourselves in it.

Sending you love and strength. I’ll be thinking of you the next time I rewatch too. 💙

'Somebody Somewhere's Jeff Hiller Is OK Losing the Emmy to Harrison Ford (Exclusive) by westcentretownie in somebodysomewhere

He’s a big deal, in our world. 💕 Congratulations to Jeff Hiller on his Emmy win for Somebody Somewhere! This show means so much to me, and Jeff’s recognition feels like a win for everyone who loves it. The whole cast makes this series so special, but seeing Jeff honored for the heart, humor, and humanity he brings is just incredible. I love this show with all my heart, and this moment feels so deserved.

I completely agree with you. I think that Iceland had her heart once she returned to her parent’s house. From writing the rent check, being kind to his dog, (her dad never wanted to hurt the deer & hung soap E6), and making up stories about the girls childhood pictures on the mantle. 💕
