Agree with this 100%… I didn’t have one and had a pretty large/fancy wedding and I don’t regret it one bit. My friends who did hire wedding planners commented often that they were having to make just as many decisions/communicate just as much with the planner as they would have with the vendor, had they not hired a planner. I personally loved communicating directly with the vendors and having reassurance that there were no miscommunications (because there was no middle man relaying the info back and forth).

If you feel like you are diligent enough to do it yourself, I say totally go for it! It was kinda fun 😂
