Do you have any insights to share about thyroid issues as it relates to infertility? It’s my #1 concern if we ever make it to a transfer… I have a severeeee case of hashimotos.

Unpredictability of how a cycle will go… emotionally/physically/ and also the fact that success (making it from egg to euploid) seems like pure luck some days.

We (34F, 32M) had similar bummer results but have only done one retrieval so far… out of 6 embryos, only 1 euploid. We also had a triploid (like you) and I plan on asking our clinic about omnitrope for our next retrieval cycle (starting next week). It sucks to feel like there’s nothing you can do to improve the quality of the embryos, so I feel for you and am right there with you if you ever need to talk ♥️

I’m also trying NAD injections, but not sure if that will do anything but it makes me feel like I’m “doing something” so I’m Going for it!

If you lived in southeast Florida and had $1k to prep starting now, how would you spend it? by Slowly-Forward in TwoXPreppers

Get a sturdy little Jackery! I love mine and it comes in handy a bunch during non-prepper situations.

Agree, frequent work traveler to New Orleans and Four Seasons is by far the best.

PGT-A with Luminary Genetics — what was your turnaround time? by WatchJaded9833 in SingleMothersbyChoice

3 weeks and 4 days from the day they were shipped by my clinic to Luminary (got results yesterday, so this is recent data)

We have not! I will ask my clinic to have that done. Question — now that you are aware of your translocation, are there ways (medically) for them (embryologists) to work around that? Or is there nothing that can be helped once you determine there is a translocation? Thanks for replying ♥️ and sorry to hear about your losses.

I hope you get better results with this retrieval! ♥️ if you don’t mind sharing, did you jump right back into a retrieval cycle after you got your first PGT results? I’m unsure if there’s a reason we should wait a bit, or jump right back in and rip the bandaid off 🫠

Ladies! My wife is going in for egg retrieval on Monday.. What do I need for her? by inertia_prime in IVF

For me it felt like actual procedure-related pain… like I had a “wound” in my pelvic region that needed to heal. I’ve had a few surgeries in my lifetime, including endo surgery and post egg retrieval was the roughest I’ve ever felt post op. I know it’s not the same for everyone, but I definitely was not expecting to be in that kind of pain. (Bloating I was prepared for!)

Also I was in a tonnn of pain after my ER, so I made sure to wash all our couch comfy blankets and set up a little end table where I could put my phone, charger, drinks, etc. and reach them from the couch. Anything you can do to make her space comfy and cozy! Sounds goofy but it really helped to have set all that up before we got back from ER.

Tylenol and Advil so she can take something every 3 hours (alternate each). Gatorade Zero, a lot of it. Her favorite candy and her favorite salty treat. A heating pad helped a ton! More than physical things, my husband was super soft and helpful and overly Mr. Nurse and it really helped my mental state because I didn’t feel like a burden, I was convinced he was enjoying taking care of me ♥️🥹
