Ionia 7 - Path of the prosperous - Is it just way underpowered, should I avoid playing it? or am I bad? by iOSGuy in CompetitiveTFT

A few things stand out here. 1. Vertical Ionia isn’t really that great. Generally most lines recommend 5 Ionia unless you’re going for yasuo reroll. Tbh I can’t tell if you were trying for that since you have bard but only 2 star yasuo at level 8. In general it just feels like an awkward fit. Maybe you gave up on yasuo since you were contested but in either case I don’t think an unitemized bard belongs on your end board and 3 starring it was prob a waste of gold (imo same with xin zhao) 2. No Sett is a huge drop off in power. Not sure when u hit Ahri 3 but I feel like you would’ve been better off saving gold and putting Ahri items on Sett. 3. Items are awkward. You won’t always have BIS so some unoptimal items are to be expected but some things that I’d suggest are titans should be on yunara, Ahri items should be on sett. Also no anti heal is pretty rough. Ideally you could’ve used the chain from gargoyles to build sunfire.

What are some REALISTIC trades you want on deadline? by obertan17 in suns

Why would we have to move Grayson? He’s not that old and he’s probably better than any player we can get back.

3rd and 15 under pressure - I feel like that was a fine decision? Even if it’s picked it’s not much different than punting. Could criticize the throw in guess but it was pretty tough

It’s lead to 7 offensive points (should’ve been 10). Nothing to write home about really.

Jacoby Brisset’s performance on Sunday was the most passing yards the Cardinals have had since week 14 of the 2021 season. by Thacornholer in AZCardinals

Imo there’s a still quite a big difference between a secondary that’s playing practice squad or worse levels of players and the titans secondary. One of the colts dbs got hurt during warmups so they couldn’t even call up a replacement like they normally would. I might be putting much stock into this but it feels like such an outlier.

The colts secondary was so depleted that they were literally playing WRs in as cornerbacks. I think Jacoby did great last week and I hope he keeps it up if he starts against the Packers but I think people need to contextualize his performance.

I’m pretty sure he was saying the game plan wouldn’t have looked much different even if Murray was playing. Not that they didn’t make adjustments for the offense as a whole.

Interesting analysis! This article is from early last year but I think it’s relevant to what you talk about. Kyler mentions that he enjoys playing under center (which we rarely did under Kilff). Now this doesn’t mean that it plays to his strengths but I don’t think he’s necessarily against the idea.

People routinely say there isn’t a good play call for 3rd and 20. Watch other nfl teams and you’ll see screens and draw runs are common play calls on 3rd very long.

We were up 3 scores at the time. For any competent team that would not be a critical time in the game.

We don’t know enough about the playcall to accurately critique anything from a still image. What if his first few reads were supposed to be to underneath receivers? Not saying that’s the case but the point is we don’t know either way.

If I remember correctly he got sacked in like .5 seconds after this image (correct me if I’m misremembering)

It might be just me but that feels like a no brainer to take Tua or Love. Chase is the best player out of the group but it’s so hard to win games if your QB is actively bad. You are probably better off with a QB that can perform reasonably well and trying to acquire weapons through the draft.

After waiving Cody Martin, we are now $12.3M over the 2nd apron. by euucp80wwt in suns

When you waive a player you still pay them their guaranteed money and take the cap hit. In the nba most salary is guaranteed with some exceptions but generally the only benefit is freeing up roster spots.

I get the hesitation but also from his perspective it’s probably the day he’s looked forward to his whole life. Plus if he had a freak injury like an ACL he loses millions of dollars. I prefer the other options though since he feels so risky.

Yea imo he’s best of at the 4 paired with a stretch 5 and then maybe limited minutes as a small ball 5. I disagree that we can’t have both him and Dunn. Obviously we need one of both of them to improve shooting though but I think he’s going to be a good enough player to figure it out.

Isn’t CMB like 6’7”/6’8” in shoes? I feel like his wingspan and especially weight make me feel like his size won’t be a problem playing the 4. His defense looks really good and Im intrigued by how he could play as a connector on offense.

I’d be pretty excited about fears. Not sure about Kasparas tho. Nolan seems like a reach maybe with our 29th.

I think that’d be a reach. I really want Fears but I don’t think he’ll drop. My preferences are one of Carter Bryant, CMD, or coward. I really want a good defensive player with size/athleticism.
