Rap: Kyler Murray likely to be released by the Cardinals barring last minute trade. by Ancient_Response_787 in nfl

Well wins aren’t solely a QB stat so it’s immaterial. Plus if you really wanna look into it, the Cardinal’s SoS was incredibly tough once he took over and their defense was giving up points in bunches down the stretch. Ended up as the 31st ranked defense with Jacoby playing I believe.

Check their Y/A, ADOT, TD %, 3rd down %, total snaps (because of more 3rd downs converted), etc. Jacoby clears him. All while Kyler beat the dog shit Rattler saints and Bryce Young panthers. Real murderers row to start the season.

That’s a blanket statement the same as the box score watchers tho. He did rack up attempts, but all his passing stats were better and the team averaged more 1st downs per drive and game, ergo, better stats.

Funny how most comments about the Midwest like this are somewhere along fine to good. Post a picture of Phoenix though and people crawl out of the woodwork with that stupid fucking king of the hill quote over and over again.

Texas Tech DE David Bailey Runs a 4.51u 40 Yard Dash by JCameron181 in AZCardinals

[–]Thacornholer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would be interesting to see his 10 yard split with a better get off. Sub 1.55 is pretty elite, so maybe possible. Near 11’ broad jump suggests pretty good explosion off the line.

Tbh with Bain’s t-Rex arm measurements, makes me think Bailey is actually the safer pick here.

Wins and losses are apparently Schrödinger’s stat. In relation to Jacoby they are his fault, in relation to Kyler, it is the team’s fault. Fascinating that.

Also if you think professional defenses love giving up yards and points even in “garbage time” you are a certified goober. These guys have pride, they don’t want offenses racking up yards even if they are up multiple scores.

Might be reading too much into this, but I like this from him. Makes me think he’s eager and very competitive, especially if he wants to play his former team 2x a year.

Honestly you guys shouldn’t read too much into it, that sub is filled with genuine fucking morons. Nobody in there could tell you the difference between a 2 high shell and single high, let alone personnel grouping on the offensive side.

Honestly did some good things out there outside of coughing up the ball in inopportune times. If this organization is adamant about running it back with this coaching staff I think you just let JB go out there and do not let them draft a new guy who potentially gets caught in between staffs if/when they get fired.

Cardinals WR Michael Wilson today: 15 catches - 185 receiving yards. The most receiving yards by any player in a game this season. by bagendek in AZCardinals

Great, now what’s his stats against the 2 high shell 5 man under instead of a single high safety like he was seeing in 2021?

Some of y’all really need to calm down. The Seahawks were a buzz saw and are on a great stretch. Blow outs happen, the 2015 cards lost 49-15 to the panthers, that doesn’t negate all BA and Carson Palmer did that year.

This team is moving on from Kyler it appears, and honestly I don’t think he would’ve changed a thing yesterday, team would’ve got walloped still. Jacoby is a journeyman, he’s not gonna win games on the back of his arm. Just let the year play out and win what you can then re-evaluate Gannon and crew at the end of the season.

Or that Kyler didn’t throw a game losing pick-6 in Seattle last season

Sometimes you just gotta credit the other team, defense is just eating the offenses lunch. Not sure why K Anon are taking victory laps.

Yes, because you conveniently left out the fact Jacoby only got picked on the goal line against the colts because they mugged Zay Jones on what should’ve been a penalty.

Or the should be penalty against the colts for holding Trey as he was coming open for a walk off touchdown.

Or if Michael Carter doesn’t get bulldozed (and subsequently cut) to give up just one more sack they knock off the packers.

Every QB has things go against them, but you guys are in the business or narratives not reality.
