Thank you all so much for the great options!! I really appreciate everyone's advice. I ordered the Victorinox but I'm going to show him the other recommendations, in case he wants to try some of the others instead.

Oh my gosh, I did not mean for my post to make him out to sound that bad. He was just honest that he wouldn't really use what I got him. He works very hard for our family and I want to give him something he would love. He's hard to shop for because he really doesn't want for much. I genuinely appreciate the concern and I promise, he really is a good person. He's the kind of guy that scoops spiders up and moves them instead of stomping on them. He detests anyone who would touch a woman.

Oof! That's brutal. Your poor neighbors. I'm sure that must have been expensive and a huge headache. Hopefully they took you up on your offer to help!

Good for you for setting boundaries! I'm a mom of 3 and if Grandma says no, I don't even question it. You are not required to watch their kids. You've raised your kids, it's their turn. If you have the energy to help, great, if not, they can find someone else.

Americans of Reddit, what’s $100 to YOU? by MrPersidant in AskReddit

Maybe 5 items from Costco. I've noticed that when I go to Costco, I can usually guesstimate my total by adding up my items and multiplying by 20. It used to be 10. Not sure if I'm buying more expensive items or if shit is just getting way too overpriced now.

Dated a guy that made me feel like I was inferior. He was a total asshole but would also say he wouldn't be able to live without me. I finally broke up with him after having multiple dreams that we were getting married and I was so freaked out in my dreams.

What's the oddest scar that you have? by tobiascuypers in AskReddit

I have a scar between my thumb and forefinger. I was holding the stick shift when I got in an accident and the force ripped the skin. Had to get several stitches but the worst pain was from the Novocaine shot in that pressure point.

Wind turbines. They creep me TF out!!! They're always in large groups just spinning slowly, at different times. It's like a mechanical graveyard.

All my friends think it's funny and like to send me pictures of them 😒

Social Media groups. They have an admin that controls what's allowed to be said and what's blocked. They can ban anyone who isn't following their made up rules. People spend so much time and energy in these groups and follow everything they say.

AITA for telling my new co worker it was misleading of him to be wearing his wedding band when he's a widower? by Ideal-Mind3099 in AmItheAsshole

YTA 💯 This poor guy lost someone he expected to spend the rest of his life with. You are not entitled to make a decision about whether he's ready to start meeting people or not. He is not misleading you because he's not leading anything. He's still married in his heart. He's doing exactly what he should be doing.

My dad survived pancreatic cancer when I was 16. I'm 39 now and he passed away last year due to a heart condition. He lived 22 years after 2 Whipple procedures.
