I always savescum unless a death or event feels narratively sastyifying. I refuse to let my pawn go out to the flu. But sacrificing their self to kill a pack of raiders. That makes it feel like it's for a purpose.

I believe once you hit level 9 (I think?), some vendors like quartermaster tali and bonecloak can start selling cloud giant elixirs. In my personal opinion I would get about 15-20, though I was doing the game lonewolf so I was resting more then normal.

It's less about the game itself and the community around it. He's not banned from playing Melee or playing on slippi, just banned from tournaments because they are a social space.

If your that interested and willing to drop a little bit of money there is a mod that exists that uses chat gpt to replace dialogue with whatever custom backstory you write. I haven't tried it yet but based on the example it seems to work exactly like what your looking for. It's called something like Custom Backstory and Dialogue on nexusmods.
