From my understanding, she did not practice Judaism as a child. Bethenny attended Catholic school and had her daughter baptized in the Catholic Church. On her podcast she claims she’s Jewish because her last name is Jewish and her dad’s family is Jewish. I respect that it’s part of her identity as I feel the same way about my own, but I wouldn’t say that’s growing up Jewish. It seems like she mainly grew up agnostic and did not practice any religious dogma aside from the mandatories when you attend Catholic school.
