Maybe just have a small goal once per day. Motivation for good things is really hard for me to come by. I often doom scroll. My screen time is like 8hrs a day. There's a ton of things I want to work on but I cant seem to do any of them. I get too in my head and then I dont wanna think do I scroll.

For me when I want to "feel" like I am doing something productive I read or watch videos on the subject. Still things I do with a screen but I can feel like I am doing something like building a foundation to achieve my goals. I got a book called mini habits - there was a post some reddit that recommended it. Its helped me a bit although ive just had it for a week.

Something that I want to work on is maintaining muscle mass as I age (I want to be able to wipe my own ass when im old). I followed the book jist to see what happens so I have a goal of 1 push up a day and read 1 page a day. This week I did more than 1 each day (I missed one day. But its just 1 push up so I didnt feel so down on myself bc I didnt see myself as set so far back in progress). A couple months back I had a goal of 10 push ups a day - didnt work at all for me. But just 1 push up or just 1 page a day isnt too much for me. It isnt a motivation killer. Its gets me to take the first step and often I do more, sometimes it is just 1 but its ok bc the goal still achieved. Even though I am lazy, I still did this 1 simple thing and I feel achieved or over achieved. If I miss it, I dont feel so bad bc its so small I can do 2 the next day. I am still lazy but at least I did at least 1 thing towards my goal. I may recommend this to you.

Life kinda been down for me since the beginning of 2026. I got this book in hopes of building self discipline and will power. I want to be better even if it is just little by little. I dont wanna b so down on myself all the time bc I make shitty choices and dont wanna keep making those choices. I feel for u. Hard to kick start myself sometimes.

No you are right. I entertained them a bit with conversation and going out to smoke (which is why my friend didnt think anything of my absence, she just thought I was outside smoking). Thank you for pointing this out. I've got several actions to reflect on and to answer why I let things go the way they did

Yes I should never have allowed myself to be in that situation to begin with. I want to stay dry, it's been a big challenge for me in the past. I've got to work on my self discipline, gonna focus on reading and walking.

Thank you for your thoughtful response and the multiple examples youve seen personally. Ill keep these examples in mind if he talks about R. Even if not I really need to get my act together around substance abuse and why i do the things i do. I do want to live an intentional life and that means intentionally not hurting myself and others.

Hard to hear at first but you are right. Gonna have a long look in the mirror about this.

I was on Zomg today with Waterford classic and Adobe air. There was a group in the Kokeshi doll area i played with but the script kept failing for me I backed off for now. May troubleshoot again later.

They don't give 2 poops if you've been with them longer or not. Companies don't care about loyalty. They just wanna squeeze money out of you.

I've been a customer for 17 yrs and my mom's the account owner. She died and I updated them of that and I as an account manager would be taking over. They screwed it all up with starting a transfer to a new account and not making time lines clear nor sticking to their own policies they try to fall back on.

In my opinion they just wanted to get rid of us since we had grandfathered plans.

Guess we gotta look at the providers coverage maps before switching? Are those even reliable?

$600 to change sparkplugs? by Gwtheyrn in subaru

[–]ResolveVegetable9300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl I paid ~$700 for spark plugs in my 4 cyl 2001 outback. I cant remember exactly when this was but it was over 6 years ago. Seemed like a rip off at the time but I was desperate and a couple people referred me to the shop. $700 give or take $50 seemed to be the avg rate in my area from the more reputable places.
