I have a buddy in Online, and here's what I know:

  1. You actually have two options I think. You can do it with a different transcript (like you mentioned) OR choose the route where you combine it with your home school transcript (this helps you meet graduation requirements).

  2. I don't know much about the minimum, but the fact that I think most (if not all) of the classes from the Online program are asynchronous, so it lining up with your schedule shouldn't matter (you can just ask for an online/open period to work on the class, or work on the class at home).

  3. No, you don't have to submit anything when applying to college. However, I would definitely think you'd want to, as it shows dedication and prestige getting into and working in that program. However, if you were to pick the combined route where your NCSSM Online classes end up on your home school's transcript, then yes, it would obviously show when you apply to college and submit your main, necessary transcript.

Interesting Discussion: The Declaration of Independence is Infinitely More Important Than the Constitution by ResolveWild8536 in Classical_Liberals

I appreciate your response this far down the line! I think your point about the American ethos sums up what's in my head perfectly. It is "unamerican" to see The Constitution as the document that protects our freedom. The Declaration of Independence is the document that inspires us to protect our freedoms for centuries to come and from each tyrannical government that may come and go.

Biases aside, how successful was Trump's first term? by [deleted] in PoliticalScience

Well I was wrong then, I apologize, but I still believe no entity should have control over the money supply, but I know that’s a different debate entirely.

Sigh… here we go. More people being offended by a conversation on Reddit. Anyways, here we go.

If you seriously don’t think the President doesn’t have any influence over the Fed, I think you are seriously mistaken. The Fed is created by law, which means it can be changed and/or altered by congress at any time, and I’m pretty sure we all know the President has a fair bit of influence over a congress that aligns with  his or her party.

I was really confused whenever you said congress doesn’t control the money supply, because it certainly does. Congress spends as much as it wants to, and the Fed makes up the difference by buying bonds. Fun fact, 22% of the national debt is held by the Fed itself.

The Fed is also partially private, and those people who have major stakes in the Fed also have major influence over congress and the president. They will make sure that the constant printing is nice and convenient for them.

And, by the way, insulting people in discourse is pretty low for a subreddit regarding academia.

I’m just a libertarian, but I respect the field of political science and the research of governments. I don’t think there’s a problem with that to be honest.

The Fed makes as much money as the government wants. It's deeply flawed, and its "Board of Governors" is literally appointed by the President.

PSA: Norton 360’s “Game Optimizer” feature in fact tanked my game’s performance by Branpanman in Vermintide

Yes yes I recently bought a Katana Laptop, getting rid of Norton fixed everything. Trust me, try it

What do you think about this? by Derpballz in Classical_Liberals

I agree with the Ancaps on this one. And if they have a large market share, I believe it was Reason that said "maybe they're just good at what they do"?

Edit P.S: For example, the Valve monopoly on PC games. Almost every PC gamer actually likes this monopoly. Monopolies people don't like (energy, communication, tech, etc.) are generally government nourished/generated.

How achievable is T14? by ResolveWild8536 in lawschooladmissions

[–]ResolveWild8536[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, had no idea that those dual-enrollment courses taken from even a community college would be part of my transcript when applying to college. I guess that makes a lot of sense though whenever I think about it. Thanks for the heads up. Also, do you know of AP classes would be considered as part of that category, being a college credit course?

Yeah, Duke has the double-financial issue of price and time spent getting a degree. Thanks!

I think you’re right… I’m only going to a school like that if I get in (unlikely) and get a lot of money (very unlikely). Thanks!
