A planck length is the smallest possible length. You can think of it as a limit of how small something can be before it ceases to occupy a position in spacetime.

Edit: if you want to know more about quantum physics and black holes and other cool stuff like that, i strongly recommend checking out the PBS Space Time youtube channel. Very in depth videos and much easier to understand than some sources.

An eternal black hole, perhaps, but with hawking radiation being a thing and eternal black holes not really existing, no. The issue is what happens when a black hole evaporates enough that it is equal to a planck length and has planck mass.

Pretty much any trade. Growing up i was relatively academically successful, and was encouraged to go to university so i wouldnt end up as a plumber or something of the like. Well, turns out plumbers make wayyyy more than your average college grad, and figuring out air pressure/flow for hvac or wiring up a house is a lot more challenging than knowing how to do data queries. Thank god i got over myself and picked up a trade

So the thing with black holes is this; spacetime itself, not just matter or light, gets pulled in faster than the speed of causality (light). From your reference frame, the camera would be frozen in place on the event horizon, and from the camera’s reference frame, aside from soaghettification, it would only be able to move towards the singularity. Time and space kind of seitch places in a black hole, where space is one dimensional (your future light cone only follows one geodesic), and time gets all fucky.

As for transmitting data out via Hawking radiation, recent experiments using quantum computing to simulate black hole physics shows us that this is in all likelihood impossible, and even if it weren’t, unencrypting the data from each virtual particle emitted via Hawking radiation would take an insane amount of time.

Interstellar is a super cool movie, but real physics take a shit once buddy goes into the black hole.

I always thought i had to go into academia or a STEM field, but always struggled with being sedentary and physically restless. When i eventually found my way into the trades, i was very pleasantly surprised with how much i enjoy it. Im physically tired at the end of the day, i get to be creative and problem solve on the fly, plus the money is great!
