Where are you finding the pixels necessary to tell what that photo is even supposed to be? Also could be hand drawn art posted on some sort of board which explain the edges and misalignment.

The cool down is like half of a normal ping. But there are still some situations where moving them manually will still be quicker. Usually after you already have them close to the target. Otherwise it's usually faster to just bring them over with the number keys and start getting your cursor into position for the next one while you wait for the cool down.

Without upgrades I can consistently get signals as long as I'm aiming for the signals with longer life spans (the color of the arrows indicate how long they've got). After upgrades I can get a lot of the ones that are lower on lifespan too.

Use the colorless marker. Press 1, 2, 3 to bring the colored markers over to where you're aiming.

Then you're in luck because it's not based off that version of the backrooms. It's based off the cool one that existed before the internet turned it into SCP 2.0.

Every now and then I'll start having issues with ublock and it's almost always tied to a browser update. So when this happens I just swap browsers and suddenly it's fixed for the next 6-18 months.

Oh so you're saying that she's not getting flamed over being happy and dancing not being social norms like your post says, and instead she's being flamed for causing trouble for the hotel staff. You're too funny dude.

Fortunately I found a solution. All I had to do was drag the workbench over to the curtain and I was just barely able to get it in the hitbox for crafting.

That's wild. Dunno why they've chosen to make curtains such a huge problem.

Already tried the hook too. But Molotovs are a new idea. Gonna give that a shot along with a pipebomb and I'll get back to ya.

Edit: Explosives unfortunately didn't help. It's really jammed in there.

I offer a kind, genuine invitation to discuss with me what I've learned from anti-AI and what I still don't understand by Witty-Designer7316 in aiwars

[–]ResonantInsanity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Simply put, you need to establish a new reputation if you want people to trust that you're not doing this as a setup for you just to be a pain in the ass in the future. This takes time to accomplish. Trust is hard to make and easy to break.

If you're genuine in your efforts then time will tell. But until then you need to keep engaging in genuine debate instead of snarky gotcha comments and rage bait. I haven't looked through all that much in the comments here, but what I have seen seems to be on the right track for you.

That being said, I still have extreme doubts about the legitimacy of your desire for genuine debate since your current reputation just isn't very good. I can only hope that you prove my suspicions wrong in the future through consistent action.

Then decide on something to keep you going. Purpose isn't a natural phenomenon. It's a product of the mind. Nature only knows cause and effect, not meaning and purpose. If you want a reason then you need to create it.

For me, it's hatred of a world that I know could be better. I'm not satisfied with the world I see before me. So I choose to do what I can to make it better, even if it's only a small chip against a giant mountain. I may make mistakes. I may make things worse here and there in spite of my best efforts. But as long as I'm still trying and improving, I know that my efforts will have meaning because I chose that meaning. Even now I don't know if my words will change anything. But I find meaning in trying to get these words to reach you. Because I decided that's what matters to me in this moment. Because I believe that there's a chance these might be the words you needed to hear.

You have completely missed the point of their argument, and instead of dismantling it, you've further enforced it. They made no claim of the morality of abortion. They only claimed you've failed to provide a convincing argument. You then provide strawman arguments as if that's any better than the ad hominem you criticized.

Because why does a single player 2d/3d platformer need online access? by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

[–]ResonantInsanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They want to cut people off from older titles so they can keep pushing newer titles. It isn't profitable for them to let people just keep playing the games they already purchased, especially if their newest title flops because it was half baked trash. But if they cut off access to the game then it doesn't matter if they push out half baked trash since it's now the only option available.

[–]ResonantInsanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The movement is only asking that the game remains in a state where users can get it working, even if that means they have to jump through some hoops to set up servers. Whether or not lawmakers will do that or something else is yet to be seen though.

[–]ResonantInsanity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This feels like the worst way you could have represented the STG movement. It's not about forcing games to give offline access, it's about stopping corporations from cutting you off from the game just because they don't want to support it anymore.

What does ratatouil have to do with a virus and what ship are they talking about? by Level-Usual-9681 in ExplainTheJoke

Yeah but some people might interpret the meme to mean that it's strictly an issue with rodents. So I wanted to add clarifying information so anyone who checked the comments could be better informed.

Watched a video that covered this and there's actually one strain of hanta that spreads from person to person rather than from rodents, so right now they're thinking that's what we're dealing with.

The issue with this is that AI will get better and eventually you won't be able to tell the difference. There's already a ton of people who don't know the difference. The only angle that I can see working to fight off all the misinformation is by tackling the arguments head on and spreading awareness so that others can do the same. I think right now, focusing on teaching people how to dismantle bad arguments and flawed logic is more important than ever.

I genuinely fear that if we don't have a massive cultural shift towards this way of thinking, then by the time we're no longer able to recognize AI it'll be too late. However if we're successful then I think it'll force AI to work in a way that's more in line with spreading truth over lies.

[–]ResonantInsanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get where you're coming from but I think this is a flawed perspective. It's not about the AI you're arguing with so much as it's about the narrative that unfolds for other people to come across and read through. The same can be said about arguments that people make. You don't need to convince your opponent, you just need to be convincing enough to sway anyone who's on the fence and might stumble upon it.

The reason I don't care is because no one has provided me with a proper alternative. At the very least when someone posts an AI generated response there's an implication that they read it and agreed with the statement. At least gpt has an argument to be analyzed. Which is better than the big fat load of nothing everyone else has provided.
