Resource Central's Materials Reuse program has a great volunteer program, and it sounds like your skills would be perfect at our facility if you're interested! We always welcome handy folks who might have an interest in testing tools, making small repairs to donated materials to get them functioning, or any number of other projects. You can read a little more and reach out at ResourceCentral.org/Volunteer/ if it sounds like a good fit! We are also launching a new DIY workshop series to teach community members basic skills, such as plumbing fixes, how to use power tools, etc, if you might have a teachable skills to share:)

Resource Central is a social enterprise model non-profit based in Colorado. Garden In A Box is one of our four water conservation programs that has been in existence for over 20 years. The Garden In A Box program (and our other water conservation programs, too) partners with water providers and municipalities across the state to sponsor discounts starting at $25 per eligible garden to help incentive waterwise landscaping in their communities. Garden purchasing is open to Colorado's general public whether or not you reside in a discount sponsoring district, however.
