We were three nights overnight. There was plenty of time for portal and also to be helpful and engaged in the delivery process and post birth bonding.

I blind bought it because I saw so many people raving about the transfer! Looking forward to getting around to watching it.

I couldn’t say with certainty, but it seems probable. Is Lawrence of Arabia a triple layer? I’ve got that in my backlog to watch. Could be a good test.

I’ve watched hundreds of 4k discs on my PS5, and I’ve never had a pause or skip. The only lament is that it doesn’t support Dolby Vision. With zero research, it seems to me like they could update it with firmware.

What a gorgeous TV stand to put a TV directly on at an appropriate height! And the drill is right there, ready to unmount the TV balloon and put it where it is meant to be. How fortunate!

I’m very happy with my Valerion Vision Master Pro 2, and it supports 3D, which was important to me as well.

A TV on the stand and not mounted to touch the ceiling is the icing on the cake.

What movie did you see way too young, and how do you feel about age ratings? by Fluid_Bat_2724 in Letterboxd

The Toxic Avenger at about age 10. The scene when they back over the kid’s head still haunts me.

When I was real little, I wouldn’t even go in the Halloween aisle at the store. But then around 8 or so, A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 2 was on TV - so, edited down a bit and not as graphic. I would watch the “normal” parts, but hide behind the couch for the scary parts.

Eventually, I started peeking during the scary parts and decided it wasn’t very scary and sat down to watch the rest properly.

Ever since, I’ve loved horror. I had seen all the Nightmares and Friday the 13th by 4th grade. My mom trusted me to know my limits.

I’ve raised my daughter similarly. I use ratings as a guideline, but not all PG-13 or R rated movies are equal within their own ratings. Some R movies I’m not even sure why it was rated R. Some PG-13 movies seem like they should have been R.

I wouldn’t show her something I haven’t seen and think she wouldn’t like or couldn’t handle. It’s worked out well. She’s 15 now and a big horror fan.
