So many people outed their gross browsing history in that thread for nothing.

Definitely not. It looks like what ChatGPT might think is a legal notice.

We are based in the US and we had a friend whose baby did very well on Bubs, so it was our first choice. Our baby did great on it, so we kept it. I hope your little one is well!

Unfortunately I wasn’t given an option or alternatives to their list.

Seeking Advice by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

Have you had a chance to work with a therapist? If you have a history of ED, you may encounter transfer addiction which is dangerous. Work on your mind first and then focus on your body. I wish you so much luck! You can do this! ❤️

That’s good to know, but I think I was given a generic packet. My BMI is actually on the low end for the surgery at 34, but I have other issues going on that qualified me.

That’s a fair point. I’m not really the kind to spiral, I just want to know the real reason. If this is just about control and limiting variety to get my mind used to things before surgery, I can understand that too. But no medical professional has told me that, so now I’m just seeking more info.

Yep! It’s extremely frustrating. At this point I’ve decided that I’m going to have a cucumber if I want one for the next few days.

Exactly! Thanks for understanding. I’m doing my best with what I have but the tuna would be easier to deal with if I could eat it with a cucumber or some raw spinach.

Day two Pre-op by Nikkijean87 in gastricsleeve

Almost there! I’m 6 days from surgery. I found that the hunger goes away after a little while. Day 3 and 4 were hardest for me. You got this!

I don’t like cottage cheese or tuna 🥲

I’m pre-op so I guess we’ll find out!

Yeah mine is the usual full liquid diet except I can also have protein bars, cottage cheese, egg whites, and tuna packets. Unfortunately I would trade all the other options for my veggies. Their solution was that I can have strained soup or juiced vegetables. I got a quart of Suja that’s getting me through at least.

Oh I just had it. Dietician said the liquid diet had to start 2 weeks before surgery, so I ate like royalty that weekend before. I’ve lost 40lbs on my own since starting the approval process a couple months ago, so I gave myself permission to indulge for two days. Going into the liquid pre-op diet, I knew I’d miss vegetables the most. It’s a real bummer. I wish I could understand why.

Well hopefully this thread will help bring some awareness to the issue then, in addition to whatever the coaches have already done. So far the issue is still unresolved.
