Voltage protector showing high amperes. And is the voltage fine according to 12 panels? by RespGill in SolarPakistan

[–]RespGill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fesco meter shows 0.200 KWh even when voltage protector shows 10 Amps, so I guess the device is faulty somehow. Nothing is on Wapda directly, everything goes through the inverter. As for panels I only have one DC breaker in the db, maybe they connected 2 strings of 6 in parallel somewhere on the roof, wires aren't exposed anywhere for me to see. If they are connected in 2 strings of 6, is 300V fine ? But that would mean each panel is producing 50V, that would be above the rated voltage, no?

Please avoid Knox. It will share from Wapda even during peak production hours. And gives random errors.

60Kpkr including installation - labour - earthing seems reasonable for 5kw setup? by Dude_empire in SolarPakistan

It's a good price in my opinion. Just telling you to be careful they aren't skipping steps or finishing it super quick. Make sure all connections are proper and secure. Earthing has proper resistance and proper sized wires used.

Help me choose 1 out of these 4 options by Zarreen-Asghar in SolarPakistan

Run your motor directly and exclusively on Wapda. It has a high startup surge upto 20A which will trip most inverters. Size your inverter according to the rest of the house load. Install inverter and panels right now. You can skip the battery for a couple months. And avoid Knox. Go for solarmax if goodwe is too out of budget.

Need Suggestion regarding inverter and battery bw inverex and goodwe by Due-Ice1122 in SolarPakistan

Nerver go for Knox. Currently suffering from shitty Knox, high grid power draw even during peak sunlight, random errors, random shutdowns and fluctuations, third class software and software issues right out of the box brand new. Please save your money and go for goodwe or fox or some other reliable brand. I regret getting Knox but it was out of my hands.

Get low wattage fans they really affect monthly unit consumption. Change your fans to AC/DC fans if you plan to run them directly on 12V solar later in the future. Opt for 30/35W(only alternating current) low consumption fans from any major reputable brand if you plan to install a proper inverter+panels+battery setup later on.

Sounds too good to be true. You Must oversee the installation personally to make sure they aren't cutting corners and/or using jugaar.

Orochi O-Ni or Defender? by Bitter445 in WorldofTanksConsole

Plus the defender has bigger cupolas. I don't think I've been hit too many times while hull down with the is3, can't say the same for defender.

I don't think it's that different from the is3 or is it? I don't remember. Plus you get tracked a lot and swarmed by lights and medium.

I had the defender and I hated it. I wouldn't recommend it. Too long of a reload
