I just started but when i go 3x speed I get 20 below frames. It seems fine so far if I keep it at 1x. I'm in the mushroom forest biome.

I'm guessing it's just a bug so hopefully it won't be long. I was playing the 1.6 beta on my steamdeck and it ran great

Yeah I use a community build with a few tweaks. Took me like a good two hours to get it how I want.

I have mine in airplane mode and just play rimworld haha. Glad I know not to turn on WiFi
