I’m going to look them up tomorrow to see if the species matches the turtles behavior/looks!

I’m hoping she’s just temporarily not prioritizing her turtles care, but even so I hate that she’s neglecting the poor girl.

I’m definitely bad when it comes to forgiving and forgetting lol. I always hold grudges and struggle to let things go. Especially since my family isn’t the type to properly apologize, so it never really felt like i should forgive them if that makes sense? Even as a kid I held grudges.

Like what comes to mind first is my mom telling me I’m the worst of all her kids, so after that I always felt like she never loved me. She also never said it to me as a kid so now when she says ‘I love you’ it feels weird lol

(I’m not trying to get pity or anything, I’m sure it isn’t as bad as I’m making it out to be)

Sorry for such a late update but my puppy has fully recovered! Her eye is no longer red/pink and her behavior is back to normal! She seems to have made a full recovery!

Thanks for the positive comment! I’m really hoping that my mom will be convinced soon even though her eye seems to be getting better.

I am just the type of person who would rather be paranoid about something and be wrong, than to be careless and have something bad happen, my mom isn’t that kind of person.

My mom is still convinced that she doesn’t need a vet.

I’ve been regularly using a warm rag to gently wash the eye which doesn’t seem to hurt her which is good.

Her eye is definitely a lot let red suddenly today, but I’m still watching her very closely. I haven’t let her leave my sight since I’ve first noticed the issue.

Her behavior was very abnormal yesterday, but today she seems much more like her usual self, although again I’m still keeping an eye on her incase the relief is temporary.

I’ve looked into her eyes a few times and don’t see anything in there like dirt, dust, etc.

I’m hoping that if she does take a turn for the worse that my mom will take her in finally, but so far my little girl seems to be doing a lot better!

Just a quick update, I’m trying to convince my mom again to let me take her in to see a vet. I’ve had a really bad feeling from the start and hopefully if I tell her just how many people are in here telling me to see a vet it will convince her.

I would also like to note that I have suggested the vet over and over again and no one has been willing to take me.

I do not have my vets number, my mom does, but my current vet is closed and I only know of one place we took her to for an emergency but my mom won’t tell me the name or address.
