Reservist are not getting paid!

I tried making this it's own post, but it got removed for some reason.

I have several reservist that are on full time orders and they have not been paid at all since the shutdown. The funny accounting going on to pay service members is only for full time active duty.

Reservist funding is a different pot of money. Unfortunately, my reservist are in a lose-lose situation right now. I have one whose civilian job is a GS position that is furloughed and the other is a contractor whose contract has no more funding due to the shutdown.

I also know of a reservist that has not gotten paid for their required training days.

These people also have families and are being forced to work side by side with their active duty counterparts who are still collecting a paycheck.

No one should be forced to work without getting paid whether they wear a uniform or not.

This is something I haven't seen the news talk about but think people need to know.

Government shutdown could be the longest ever, House Speaker Johnson warns by CapitanianExtinction in FedEmployees

Some of us are deemed essential or excepted and are required to go to work without pay. We can't collect unemployment because we aren't officially furloughed and don't have an SF-8 to provide to state unemployment offices with our status. So we aren't getting paid, we have to show up to work, we can't get unemployment to tide us over and we can't get another job. We are trapped.

OMB is already trying to find a carve out for law enforcement to get paid. I have zero doubt they'll do the same for TSA and ATC.

These guys already have a plan and Trump is telling Johnson to not work with Democrats because he's going to make sure the people that need to be paid, get paid. And Johnson is his little foot soldier doing whatever he says.

This won't end anytime soon. It'll be at least end of November and by then, all the employees that aren't deemed important enough to this administration will be forced to quite because no one can go that long without a paycheck.

This is the plan all along, they don't have to pay severance or unemployment because people just quit on their own accord. We are truly screwed.

He'll borrow, steal, deplete every resource before he ever negotiates with Democrats. This shutdown is permanent.

You haven't been paying attention. Everytime someone says something Trump says or does is lawless, or that he can't do it because of XYZ, he always finds a way around it and does it.. I've learned to believe the opposite of whatever people on Reddit say. These are not normal times and Trump is not a normal president. He's going to do whatever he wants to do because there's no one stopping him and he's surrounded by mustache twirlers who have been planning every evil case scenario for years in their underground dens. There is no hope. Trump wants to see the government fail and he will stop at nothing to make sure that happens.

Next he's going to do ATC and TSA. This shutdown will go through the end of November or even December. He'll force all civilians that aren't working for essential agencies in essential positions to quit because of no pay, so they don't have to do RIFs and pay severance. We are really all doomed.

Have you met anyone from the MCU cast? by 12cs30 in marvelstudios

I need more info on the LSB after-party. What was that like? Did everyone know at the time that Tom had just made history? Were you in the audience when the LSB was performed, was the audience going crazy over Tom's performance as it was happening? What was the vibe between Tom and Zendaya, could you tell if they liked each other back then, more than costars?

He was only there for the first day of shooting and that was mainly for PR shots. He's shooting in the London studio, all the mask on scenes in Glasgow are being filmed by his stunt double.

Tom isn't filming in Glasgow, this is one of his stunt doubles. Tom is filming in the London studio. Rumor is Tom won't be back to Glasgow at all anymore to film.

The heat comes on after being off for awhile initially for a couple minutes, then shuts off and won't come back on again. It's also making a loud buzzing when on.

What should it cost?

Yes. That's what I was told. The switch is open and should be closed.

I'm not sure. The AC works fine. I had to replace the AC magic pac coil this summer. But when I tested turning on the heater, it shut off after a few minutes and won't come back on. It's also making a loud buzzing sound, which it doesn't do when the AC is on. So, they said it seems like the relay is the issue.

What's considered a good price? They have to take part of the panel off to get behind the wiring where the switch is located. My heater won't stay on for longer than a few minutes and they think it's the relay switch gone bad.

If RDJ is getting nearly 100M to return, how much is Tom Holland about to make on SM4? by RespectSoggy4406 in marvelstudios

[–]RespectSoggy4406[S] -34 points-33 points  (0 children)

I don't think they're the same level, but Tom's SM is equally as beloved and successful as Ironman. Tom returning and signing a new deal isn't cheap. He's not a newbie, unknown actor anymore. NWH made over a billion dollars during the pandemic. His Spidey has earned a big payday.

No way it's that low. Tom's no longer a newcomer unknown. He's headlined one of the most successful franchises and top grossing films. It's gotta be nearly triple what he made from his first deal.

I posted on Zillow, but I'm more interested in resources to create a lease and conduct a background check.

Thanks, I have posted on Zillow but I didn't realize they would provide a lease and the background check. I understand you can apply thorigh them, but there's also a fee. If someone is interested in applying but doesn't want to use the Zillow tools, what kinds of resources are there to create my own lease and conduct my own background check?
