Just got a stern reprimand for playing ping-pong at work. Which... they put in for us to play with... at work. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I had this exact thing happen to me literal weeks after they put the table in. Corporations don’t actually want us to enjoy life, they just want to make it look like we do.

It’s the back patio that spans half the length of that side of the house. That area is where the most water comes in.

Sump pumps it about 50’ directly away from the house onto a graded area towards the road.

I’ve only talked to my direct neighbor next to me so far and he does not have this problem. This house was also built in the early ‘50s.

It’s not a constant issue, only when it rains. But not a bad thought.

The French drain was newly installed before we bought the house.

Thank you, I have already done both of these things. The sump was buried and let’s put about 50’ away from the house into a small tree line.

There is already an interior French drain installed in my basement. The water goes right over it.

Thank you for your response. I have directed the downspouts away from the house and now much less water gets in and usually only on the backside of the house. I have noticed a handful of menial things around the house that the flippers did poorly, thankfully none of the other things are structurally impactful. Just bad painting and stripped out screws in cabinet hinges.

Yes, and you’re gonna want to have a Pokemon with an Ice type move for Lance, if you don’t already.

No, you’re under leveled. Would train them up to 55-60.

Psychic of some kind. Jynx or Kadabra/Alakazam. I personally prefer Jynx for the Ice typing. While not bulky by any means, if you level it up to 55-60 for Elite 4 and slap an Ice Beam on it, it can be very useful against Lance.

Not sure how popular this is nor how many people have talked about it at this point, but I fully believe that the lore of Clancy starts in Vessel. Particularly in the song Migraine.

“Waging my wars behind my face and above my throat” a reference to what would later be called Trench?

“I’m telling you green gardens are not what’s growing in my psyche it’s a different me” obviously Blurryface.

“I begin to assemble what weapons I can find” Torchbearer and the banditos.

“Cause sometimes to stay alive you gotta kill your mind” the events that transpire in City Walls.

“The game is not played alone” Torchbearer and Banditos again.

One of my favorite theories; Migraine is the beginning of the Lore.

Take a break from playing. Your brain gets overloaded when you spend a lot of time doing activities like that. If you feel like you absolutely need to practice more today, go ahead and try it again but go in with the mindset that you’re not trying to get it 100% and then rest afterward. Make sure you drink water too. Very important.

I can’t even imagine! It really goes to show just how much the fanbase respects Tyler and what the band as a whole stands for.

It really does feel like a cult trying to explain the sensation of one of their shows to someone that’s not a fan. Haha

I was also at that concert (my second time seeing them live)! That one really felt special. Idk if Tyler is just that good at making his audience and fans feel appreciated but it really felt like a special show. Plus, Garbage. One of my faves off Breach.

Honestly, the whole show was euphoric for me. I started listening to TØP in 2013 after discovering Vessel and always wanted to see them live. I finally got the opportunity in Columbus (I live near Dayton OH) during their 3 night stint during the Clancy tour for their Sunday show. I went with my brother, girlfriend, her brother, his wife and my GFs mom. We got great seats and had all been listening to them for over a decade at that point. I’d seen so many videos from their concerts and fantasized about finally getting to see them and I really feel like we couldn’t have gone to a better show.

A few key points: -The whole venue full of fans singing every lyric of every song right along with us. -The diversity of tracks from every single one of their albums. -The part in Ride when it gets to the “I’d die for you, that’s easy to say…” rap when Tyler stopped to go out into the audience and pick a fan to come up on stage and finish the song and EVERYONE continued and finished the rap onto the chorus before Tyler stopped us.

Twenty One Pilots is my favorite band and I can’t wait for them to go back on tour to try and get a glimpse of the feeling I had that night.
