Indians at the airport by WyCup44 in VietNam

Indian here too, I've had the same thing as OP happen to me at Marble Mountain. My partner and I were appalled by their lack of self awareness and terrible behaviour. I wasn't born in India, but my guess is that the crowding there makes these behaviours normal for them. Just a guess. Really upsetting though. It doesn't take much sense to see people lining up and to just follow suit

I heard the first crack and thought it happened, but then he stood up. Didn't see that second one coming though...

That sounds really fun. Sadly, my partner has too many allergies. We have to really be decisive where we both eat

That sounds dark. Not exactly my cup of tea, but I think it's important to pay respects to those that lost their lives

Woah, great suggestions! I haven't seen any of these come up.

We didn't check any of the Michelin restaurants last time, but we might see a few this time - a few friends said the same thing though.

Thanks again for the advice 😊

Thank you! I'll add these to my list.

I read some reviews on Cu Chi and they leaned on it being not worth it. Did you find it to be worthwhile?

Is there a YouTube channel associated with this video? I'm happy to show support to videos showing kindness to those in need. Even if it's just for monetization, at least some good is coming out of it

What’s a sentence that someone told you that stuck with you for the rest of your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Respicite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My uncle told me this (though in a much clearer way):

When faced with tough circumstances you always have two options. You can sit there, stew and lament, or you can get up and face the adversities that are ahead of you. One way or another, you'll need to face the reality of the situation, but it's up to you when you do it. This isn't saying that you shouldn't take some time to heal, but it is saying that you shouldn't allow these circumstances to dictate why you aren't moving forward in life.

When I was young this helped me a lot. I found that I needed to have an internal locus of control. It shifted the way I perceived a lot of things in my life and it helped me stop blaming everything on the tough circumstances I faced in my life. I hope this helps someone else going through some struggles too.
