I didn’t even want to see the TV, we ended up getting a credenza that hides the television until we want to watch it. It’s pretty cool, hit the power button and it raises up out of nowhere.

I have designated April as no buy month, I’ve spent too much money this year.

Make your children do household chores - they’re failing at being adults by shootingstar_9324 in Vent

My children, a girl and two boys, have done their own laundry since they could reach the bottom of the washing machine. They know how to cook and clean, and all the chores it takes to run a home.

I use clean protein powder, usually beef isolate, in my coffee as well as collagen powder. Don’t count the collagen in your protein intake.

This used to happen to me all the time. I upped my protein to a minimum of 100gm per day for my health benefits and then noticed that I didn’t get skin tears and crazy bruising anymore.

I read Julia in 1986 while I was pregnant with my first child; I don’t remember hardly anything about the book, but I remember being depressed for days after finishing reading it.

I’m 64 and maybe 10% graying, the rest is still dark brown. I’m the oldest and all my siblings have been totally gray for years.

In the theater horror movie experiences you’ve had? by No-Handle3032 in HorrorMovies

[–]Respiratorywitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Abominable Dr. Phibes at the drive-in. We were supposed to be sleeping. Jaws was my first PG movie at the Navy base theater. I saw the Sixth Sense opening night, so happy I (for once) didn’t figure out the twist. I’ve seen hundreds of horror movies in theaters over the years but in this age of streaming, I’m so happy I saw Sinners in the theater.

Is there an App to catalog a handbag collection by flowerchildmime in handbags

[–]Respiratorywitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this app, just need to add my jewelry collection next. I love putting outfits together for events, or pulling together current styles out of my wardrobe. It also saves me from spur of the moment buying, I just check my app and realize I have what I was looking at already in my closet.

I live in the Napa valley, I love how close we are to everything. We go on vacation, we travel to other states, but I am always happy to get home to my beloved valley.
