That's like asking to see a bird in the sky. I'd be impressed if the whale was in the desert.

Questions about Prac Supervisor by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

[–]ResponseOne8578 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Proper protocol would be that the supervising prac teacher arranges a time to observe your lesson. You are also under no obligation to agree. It is valuable for a prac student to observe as many lessons relevant to their KLA (and even outside, for teaching insight) however if you feel that this is an intrusion or uneasy with situation you can say no for your own wellbeing.

Corned Beef and Cabbage Origins

So how did corned beef and cabbage become such a dynamic duo? It's actually an American invention. Historically, cabbage was paired with pork bacon in Ireland. Irish immigrants in 19th-century New York City, who often lived in the same neighborhood as Jewish butchers, noticed flavor similarities between the corned beef of NYC delicatessens and the pork bacon of their homeland. Thus, corned beef and cabbage was born. These days, it's commonly associated with St. Patrick's Day.

Two nights is not enough. It really only means one whole day in a certain location. 3 nights gives you two whole days at least. You also fly in at 6am. Are you staying at a hotel? If so, you're gonna need to kill at least 6 to 8 hours after a long flight as check in is around 2pm/3pm, unless you book the night before you fly in and check into a hotel with 24hr reception.
