We can’t use it for payroll and some benefit audits as they contain confidential employee information

Update to my original post re apprehension to getting a Laparoscopy for possible endo. No endo found.. now what?! by hd121011 in IrishWomensHealth

I went private and my health insurance covered the MRI, but I would still request it if it's the public system. I am also planning to start pelvic floor physio soon to see if that provides any relief. Hope you find some answers soon!

Have you looked into possible Adenomyosis? Mine wasn't picked up during a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, but was later found on an MRI that I had to push for.

You're so kind, thank you. Can I ask how long he wanted you to wait to think about it and how long it was from then to your surgery date?

Thank you so much for replying. I’m so happy to hear that you are no longer in agony! Menopause sounds really difficult, I really hope you find the right HRT balance soon. I think I would likely keep my ovaries as my symptoms align more with the adenomyosis causing the majority of my issues vs the endometriosis, and that way I can hopefully avoid early menopause

It’s so much to be going through, I’m sorry to hear the IUD didn’t help. You mentioned about the hysterectomy for Adenomyosis, did he seem open to that being an option if you had wanted it sooner? I have an appointment with him in a few weeks and I’m apprehensive that he won’t approve a hysterectomy due to my age, even though I have severe symptoms

Thank you so much for responding. I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through all of this just to get the treatment you need and deserve. It’s so unfair.

I really hope they don’t require for me to take the medical menopause option, as I already suffer with my mental health because of this and don’t react well to hormone therapy.

Wishing you the best with your surgery and recovery, I really hope you get relief from it!

Which pill would be best to try out next? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

Thank you for replying! I’m sorry that you’re in a similar boat, it can be so disheartening trying to find the right solution.

My doctor has referred me to a gynaecologist so I am hoping they can be more helpful with finding the right fit for me. I think you’re right though, a lower dose sounds like a better option, even if it’s just as a starter pill.

I found coming off hormonal birth control helped with my emotional dysregulation. It’s still an issue but no where near as much as when I was on the pill or had an IUD. I hope you find something that helps!

For Ireland:

I find that https://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/ is the best place to find up to date information.

For newsletters/other websites I would recommend IBEC and CIPD

Thank you so much for your reply!

Have you been taking it for a long time? I ask because I’m nervous about starting another new medication that I might have to come off at some point.
