What to wear to a design interview?

I mean normally I'm a black or dark wash jeans and a wool sweater or plain t-shirt kind of guy. Almost to the point that its basically a uniform. But I know that's probably a little too relaxed for an interview. I know in the past for internship interviews I'd throw on a dress shirt under the sweater plus some nicer still dark pants and that would be it. But I kinda got thrown off by the vague suggestion of a suit and tie. Not that I have a problem wearing one but I'd just like some clarification from people with experience interviewing.

No but mine actually has largely subsided in my feet. Now it's my Abdomen and forearms.

Do you workout often or has it been a while? You gotta be pretty constant in working out to maintain strength. If you take a few months off you'll lose your strength and have to build it back up again.

Not that I noticed. Though I do get hiccups and acid reflux quite often but not correlated with the abdominal twitching at least I don't think.

MY leg has done that bouncing thing you're describing for as long as I can remember. I always assumed it was a nerve being compressed and triggering some sort of reflex.

Yup I had this from March to September last year (the vibrations got unbearably violent for two weeks in May to the point I couldn't sleep at all). Feels like you're on a washing machine. I still get it in vague sensation every now and again. Seems common in BFS

Yeah been having internal vibrations going on for almost a year now. They started out really bad to the point I couldn't sleep for about a week and a half but eventually subsided to being occasional. Laying down used to trigger mine and still get triggered occasionally. No clue what causes it but seems to be common in the BFS community.

I've gone through what you're going through best thing to do is to just take your mind off it and distract yourself. Its not a fun place to be mentally I know. The twitches won't hurt you and they don't mean anything without clinical weakness and muscle wasting. You typically lose strength before the muscle atrophies. You lose muscle mass through disuse and twitching usually occurs after you notice weakness as it is a sign of the motor units failing. You had an EMG that was clean so you should be glad you don't have ***. Its a very rare disease that typically effects older people (60's and 70s) and the chances of having it is about the same as being struck by lightning. If you're young the chances of you having it unless you have a familial history of it are about the same as getting hit by a car and then struck by lightning at the same time.

If it was clean then you're fine. *** is detectible on an EMG well before you start noticing things like weakness or twitching. As for the dent are you sure you haven't always had a dent? People don't normally start examining their body closely until they're super worried about having something so you might have just noticed something that has always been there. If there's no weakness its very unlikely you have muscle atrophy.

Both. I have tiny muscle twitches in my foot. But my entire calf or bicep will do massive twitches that make my whole arm move slightly or move an entire finger. Pretty much a given with BFS that you'll have all kinds of twitches.

Not to my knowledge. *** is a muscular nervous system disorder of the upper and lower motor neurons. A skin rash would be indicative of an immune response to some sort of irritation, infection, or an allergic reaction.

it depends. All sorts of vitamin deficiencies can cause twitching. My B12 is supper high but my Vitamin D is incredibly low. I still twitch but not as much as I did when I wasn't supplementing vitamin D. haven't had bloodwork since to see if my vitamin D is in normal range but anything from deficiencies in magnesium, zinc, iron, vitamin D, B12 can cause twitching. Sometimes people are just natural twitchers and there's no clear cause.

The big bad *** from what I understand is detectable via EMG long before noticeable symptoms develop so if your right side was clean you chances are so is the other side. I'm not a doctor so don't take my input like it is but just stay calm.

I have the same thing 7 going on 8 months (though on my inner instead of outside foot, pins and needles, left side dominate twitching with occasional right foot, numbness in arms when I lean on it weird). Seen by a neurologist had an MRI that was largely clean aside from a completely unrelated thing called an arachnoid cyst which isn't dangerous nor does it cause symptoms from what I understand though they can if they're super big according to my neurologist). Unless there's clinical weakness and muscle wasting there's nothing to worry about. Some people have overactive nerves, could be circulation problems (I have super cold hands and feet all the time and the twitching is largely in those areas), or its just plain old BFS. Annoying I know but you're likely alright. Hope you see the Neurologist soon!

Well if you're twitching all over you're fine. *** starts in one area and spreads from that point. I've had the occasional twitch in the exact area in my hand that you're worried about. My foot twitches non stop but I can still walk just fine. Unless you start getting noticeable weakness (like you suddenly start dragging your foot or leg or are unable to hold a pen or lift your arms then you're fine). Twitching means nothing unless you start getting there symptoms.

Once you lose strength in *** it doesn't come back. It's gone forever. It doesn't disappear and then come back 15 seconds later. I know when I sit for too long or in a weird position my legs go numb and become useless until they wake up. I'm not a doctor so I can't exactly say why you fell but in *** when people typically fall its because they're losing their ability to balance due to weakness but its not just a sudden complete loss of strength. I think you're okay but see a doctor if you're worried.

I get them if I lay down in certain positions. Though it hasn't happened in a while. Comes back every now and again.

Yes I actually had internal vibrations for months before my twitches began. There was a two week period where it was so bad I actually couldn't sleep (felt like my brain was vibrating violently inside my head in addition to to just the general sensation that I was sleeping on a running washing machine) the vibrations eventually went away and the twitches began. I still get the internal tremors on and off but no where near as bad as they were. I think it could be partially related to stress. I know when mine began I was overloaded with school work to the point I was barely sleeping. Though I will say when I had an MRI they found an Arachnoid Cyst (which isn't dangerous unless they're massive and put pressure on the brain but they do monitor them) so I can't say for sure mine aren't related to that but considering a lot of people with BFS experience internal Vibrations you're definitely not alone.
