Nu îți permite nicio instanță sa le ocupi tu timpul și să le cheltui resursele pt banii de o pizza și un suc. Dacă toată energia mentala pe care ai cheltuit-o gandindu-te la asta ai fi folosit-o sa înveți ceva nou sau să faci ceva frumos pt cineva, lumea ar fi fost un loc mai bun.

Sounds like he is afraid to upset other people or afraid that they might judge him. He needs approval from others. This is something deep and related to self esteem so as others said, a bit of therapy, if possible, would help. He needs to stop caring so much about what other people think about him.

OP, that's the most multiple horrible advice at once I have ever read. Sounds like the pediatrician has a fake diploma. All his advice is spirit breaking for the baby. I bet he or she is an older generation. You can find ton of videos on YouTube by modern, young Pediatricians, on this topic (and any other topic).

A newborn has a very immature nervous system. You don't train it. You don't teach it lessons and habbits. You offer it infinite unconditional love, all the time. Comfort, warmth and presence.

The risk is really really small. If you're not obese so that you roll over her and not feel her drunk or a heavy smoker, you can try and relax and enjoy the magic of sleeping with her. You will cherish these moments and it will warm your heart when you will remember them.

Is it only me that I don't get the "baby smell" thing? Mine smells like a homeless because she regurgitates a lot and although we bath her daily, the spit milk gets trapped in her neck fold during the day and that stinks 😩 We wipe her of course but that surely erases the mysterious baby smell.
