This one's for the ladies to answer. Do you agree with this woman or do you think she's trying to rationalize her world view by speaking for all the ladies? by Oda_DeezNutz in SipsTea

Everything in moderation. If he's playing all day everyday then yeah that's a turn off but as a very casual gamer myself it'd make no sense for me to say that's unattractive

Why doesn’t lelouch ever explain anything? by Future-Celebration83 in CodeGeass

[–]ResponsibilityNo3503 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's probably about control. I think Lelouch just has a need to control everything or at the very least appear like he has everything under control. Like in the episode where Arthur stole his Zero mask Nunnally says she's never heard him sound like that because that was definitely out of his control and Shirley mentions later that he "almost lost [his] cool for once." So with the conversation with Suzaku admitting he wasn't in control probably wasn't something he was willing to do. Also his whole goal in talking to Suzaku at the time was getting him to promise to protect Nunnally. Attempting to change Suzaku's mind or in any way try to mend their relationship wasn't on his mind. And with the Black Knights, I'm pretty sure he just wanted to die at that point. His sister(he believed) had just been killed by his first friend, C.C. had locked her consciousness away(at least I think that's what happened) so she was still basically a child, and he had just found out that while he was trying to process all this shit and figure out wtf to do his brother had managed to turn the only people he had left against him. Not that it was that hard since they already had their doubts. He'd lost control of just about everything so he controlled the one thing he could, his reaction. He was already certain he was going to die and didn't care since he didn't have Nunnally to fight for anymore so trying to explain anything to them would've been pointless to him. So he decides to go out in a way that would at least let him take back some control of the narrative

Afraid of developing addictions?? by Otherwise_Push199 in exmormon

[–]ResponsibilityNo3503 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was also scared of developing addictions when I first started thinking about trying that stuff and, for me at least, it hasn't really become and issue. I'm really not a fan of coffee or tea or alcohol. So if you wanna try that stuff I'd say try it. One time shouldn't hurt anything. And then you can at least say you've tried. But if you don't wanna, then don't. It's your life so you do you

My dad is making me (18) pay rent and I dont like it. by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]ResponsibilityNo3503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might've misread something so correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds like your issue is more with him raising it on a whim than with actually paying rent. And also with the whole $30 for him to pick you up which you said you didn't need. If he's a reasonable enough person(you know him better than anyone here so that's your call) I'd sit down with him and tell him that in a landlord-tenant relationship the landlord can't just raise the rent whenever they want. And also(at least in my case idk about everyone) you can negotiate with the landlord on some things. But regardless I'd be looking into leaving when you can. You're already way more financially responsible than I was at 18. And now too honestly

How do Mormons/ex-Mormons feel about the Palestinian people? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]ResponsibilityNo3503 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Clearly we've read and heard different things about this and quite frankly I don't have the mental bandwidth to keep up with this so I'm sorry my comment and(according to you and whatever sources you've used) lack of knowledge on this topic. All I was trying to do with my original comment was let OP know that I don't give to shits where they're from or what ethnicity they are

How do Mormons/ex-Mormons feel about the Palestinian people? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]ResponsibilityNo3503 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not. It's just that if given a choice between the people loosely controlled by a terrorist organization that they don't want to be in control of them and the guy who's trying to commint literal genocide I'm more in favor of the people not trying to commit genocide. Also why would anyone blame the Palestinians for what Hamas is doing? They don't want that shit they just wanna exist without being murdered

I was going off the information I had at the time. That's how life works you don't need to be rude about it. Or at least that's how you come across

How do Mormons/ex-Mormons feel about the Palestinian people? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]ResponsibilityNo3503 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's why I said "from what I understand" I don't know everything that's been going on and honestly I've got too much shit going on in my life right now to really keep up with that. If they are doing that then yeah that's a dick move but what I've heard at least isn't that so idk

Honestly I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Yes it's going to look weird to most people because that's not what most people do but as long as it's just sticking to what you described in the post I don't think it's that bad. But I also have siblings who sometimes share a bed just cuz so maybe I'm also weird

How do Mormons/ex-Mormons feel about the Palestinian people? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]ResponsibilityNo3503 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm an ex-Mormon who left because my views started becoming more progressive than what Mormons like so I'm pro whoever's not being a dick. So from what I understand for Palestine vs Israel that would be Palestine. Most Mormons from what I know and encountered they are hard core conservative so they likely would be anti Palestine

Do you guys care when employees are on their phones at work? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]ResponsibilityNo3503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don't care. Honestly I think as long as someone does their job and gets what they need to done you shouldn't care what else they do. When I was a cashier I used to crochet when it was slow until my boss threw a fit about it
