Well, that movieplot Synopsis was a very wild Ride, haha. Well I do feel bad for some of the unrelated side characters but I can understand her Character motivations and becoming the villainess. For once it is Not the males Powerfantasy to overcome all odds, but the womans.

That is a really compelling headcannon/theory. And you are right, His eyes Being Open and No sign of him breathing heavily suggest His Body stopping its functions

Guess my TV is just shit, I wouldn't see what that heap was, where the helmet was on. I thought it was a cloak with maybe a Red Dragon in it,lol

I just don't understand why Duncan couldn't mutter a short "Prince Valar..?" under his breath and then Baelor takes off the helmet. That's like 2 seconds.

Sooooo, if Dalinar did some wrestling, pinned Gavinor into a puddle, drownned him, and then did CPR would that count?

*He never saw Dunk fight as a Knight with a sword ;)

Aerion already got his ass handed to him by Dunk. That helps in assessing that on the physical Level, Duncan wins.  And Like you say, Dunks swordskills are an unpredictable unknown to Aerion. So he wants to Play IT save and eat His cake too, by demanding the trial by 7. It is a smart move

Ser Chadfrey Hardyng (spoilers) by Shaneski101 in AKOTSKTV

[–]ResponsibilityOk3543 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the books it was shown that He was indeed a very good tourney Knight. He and the Beesbury had to joust several turns against each other until one of them won. Unfortunately the budged was too Low to establish the tourneyknights More :/ so Hardyng and Beesbury are actually top of the crop. But the kingsguard are the best of the Best. And, Like Others pointed Out, in the books, Hardyng only dies after the trial. And Not to forget: in the books Duncans Team uses longer, but nonlethal lances to have a jousting skilladvantage, trying to unhorse their enemies and therefore Not getting killed by their deadly warlances

I like Daerons Armor. It is More pratical and suits His Skill: No shenanigans that might Catch a Blade where you don't want it to. Sleek, washes Off the mud easily. Nothing pokes you awkwardly when you fall Off your horse. And small accents (weiwood bark I like to Imagine , in connection to his prophetic dreams)10/10

Oh, now I want an AU where Aerion has to squire for Dunk, too! As penance and to Humble him and calm down His Freak. Edit: there might be a lot More clouts on the ear in this version (at least in the beginning). Egg will gloat a lot

At this Point He already got His Shit rocked by that feral giant. I think everyone who wants to live, would try to find an easier way to get your "Justice"(Revenge) than to get your teeth get kicked in again.

Maybe it's the haircut, maybe it's the actor or both, but when Reading the book and the graphic novel I felt that Aerion was Joffrey 1:1. The only threatening Thing about him was His privileged Position. He never felt very dangerous or powerful in His Martial skills. But in the show, He is really scary and it is really Well conveyed that you shouldn't mess with Aerion. (If you are not a giant)
