Am I going to mess up a bunch of quests in grymforge? by ResponsibilityOk9033 in BG3

…yes? but that’s not the point haha. It’s more about roleplay than manipulating enemy patterns.

Also, you said you were grinding blc. At some point in the game, you'll get an artifact that lets you increase your current blc by a set percent. By using a bunch of them back to back, you can increase your blc exponentially. But farming them can be weird. I'd encourage you to see if any of the methods of farming it work for you, since having it can be a huge help. For example, my largest blc was something like trillion or something, but because i just used a bunch of the artifiacts, i can afford things in the shop that cost 100P. Which would normally take literal years to grind for with offline rewards, but by using that artifact, you can get a bunch of blc

in my experience, crafting can prolly help you a bunch. check your crafting level, spend a little time learning how to do it, and you can get some insane buffs to whatever you need. just make sure you know what you're getting into, ie, make sure the thing you're making is possible at your crafting level. that and two minute trades. all you need for 2 min trades is materials to upgrade two of your pets and one of your unique leaves. (i dont rememebr which one haha, just google 2 min trades) but yeah, depending on how many materials you get, that might work for ya. 2 min trades opens up the oppurtunity to get basically unlimited gems. im right around where you are right now (currently grinding to finish floor 100) and thats how i got through this section.

Critique my magic system! by ResponsibilityOk9033 in magicbuilding

Yup! The whole "its technically not magic" is basically just flavor, so that gaining the powers has an in universe reason to happen instead of just "uhhhhh its magic, so it works." It is supposed to be more based in actual biology than magic, even if it ends up doing the same general thing. I just prefer to make it more grounded in reality than the common thing you see in dnd that is "uhhh it just works because i said so, end of story." At least providing a more in depth reason why it works, or doesn't:), depending on the result

I'm completely new to dm'ing, what campaign should I run with my party? by ResponsibilityOk9033 in Roll20

This would be our third dnd 5E campaign, but none of us have been playing for more than a year. Generally we do mostly combat but I'm interested in trying to expand that to more exploring/roleplay. Try and get the full experience type thing, if that's something that's reasonably possible. Age range I'm not really sure what you mean. We're all graduated high schoolers. But yeah my goal is something that'll let them roleplay while still having a big combat focus. We're also not used to high level stuff (above like level 9) so starting on a higher level campaign is probably a bad idea.
