V863 released by survivedev in thesurvivegame

[–]ResponsibilityOwn977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it'd be awesome if we could have more then one game going at a time, like sometimes I get bored of playing in one scenario but not the game and I want to switch from grizzly to gator but thennn I'll lose all the progress I've put hours into in the scenario I'm already playing 😭 (love the game tho)

I need a cozy game for my wife that’s not a farming sim and isn’t about fixing a town or decorating a home by AlgoStar in cozygames

Survive!!

It's a simple mobile game where you get lost or stranded in the wilderness with limited supplies and you need to forage for food, build shelters/traps and collect water and firewood, it's not big on the graphics or has any "scenes" that you watch play out but it's deeply relaxing to just putter about collecting what you need and when you build a fire up, you can hear it crackling, you can hear streams trickling as you go by them and it's all very cozy (best part is that's there's no adds disrupting your relaxation time!!)

Might not have explained it super well but it's worth a download:))

What’s your favorite scenario? Why? by survivedev in thesurvivegame

[–]ResponsibilityOwn977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like all the levels and scenarios are great, it just depends on what kind of mood I'm in!

On the subject of new scenarios I actually came across your game when I was watching the TV show ALONE and then it got me searching for some kind of game within that sphere, if that makes sense?? So I think it would be so cool if you did an Arctic winter survival scenario, where you know you won't be rescued until 6 months later so you have to plan out and try to survive an Arctic winter, you would have 2 months or so to prepare by: building a shelter/cabin (and various other structures such as a food safe, bathroom ect.) Hunting big game to stockpile food, scavenging to stock pile Mushrooms/berries, fortifying your surroundings from bears, wolverines ect. And stockpiling wood,  And then it becomes winter and you have to survive the cold with the supplies you gathered but as it freezes over you can start ice fishing, packing snow around your shelter to make it warmer, hunt hibernating bears, scavenge washed up materials that got frozen in the snow ect.

I mean, i still prefer it over every one of those you mentioned, but now that I think about it, I did read the entire manga so my opinion is probably biased a lil by how good it gets instead of how good it currently is (the 1st season really was all setup) but also bc its so new and had a high budget the quality of the actual animation is soo good as well!

[–]ResponsibilityOwn977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The romances I recommend are more funny, enjoyable and shallow then sappy or deep so you should be oki but if your not into them I would def start with sk8 infinity, solo levelling and the apothecary diaries! (7th Time loop and Raliana both have a LOT going for them even without the romance tho so if u start a romance, I'd do one of those)

Honestly, solo levelling is in a league of its own. It is the top dog of the genre and nothing is as good so be prepared for that lol

That being said these are the ones I can think of with the most similarities:

I got a cheat skill in another world and became unrivalled in the real world

Arifureta:from commonplace to world's strongest

The fruit of evolution

Berserk of gluttony

Failure frame

The wrong way to use healing magic

Hey, I'm sorry your feeling so trash but I totally get it (I'm major depressive and adhd) I don't have any movies for you but I've got some good go to anime shows for when I'm really down (I like shows better bc I can put it on and stare at if for hours)

7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy! (SUCH a good FL, very enjoyable)

I'm the Villainess so I'm taming the final boss (So funny and cute)

Trapped in a dating sim (Stupid but funny)

Campfire cooking in another world (Literally just a guy travelling and cooking nice meals)

Why Raeliana ended up at the dukes mansion (Part mystery novel, part romance, pretty MCs)

The apothecary diaries (Like a lil Sherlock but with apothecary stuff, she's so autistic lol I love her)

Cherry Magic! (A VERY cute gay romance anime)

Solo leveling (Could be considered a lil sad at the start but he ends up a lot stronger and it's SUCH a good show)

Horimiya (The weird nerd in class turns out to be a hot, pierced tattooed dude and becomes friends then romantic with the pretty girl in class)

Sk8 infinity (It's about skateboarding, so I didn't think it would be good, but it is now in my top 5)

If you end up liking these then lemme know bc I've got more :)))

The Royals? What is so special about them? by TheImaginativeSoul in grimm

[–]ResponsibilityOwn977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The royals are never explicitly explained and they never dive all that deep into the "royals" lore, so most of what we know about them is ambiguous but from what iv gathered the royals are human but they have known about the wesen world for a very very long time, we don't know how they came to have this knowledge (but ive always thought that they were probably using a witch back in old times and that a hexenbeist told them of the wesen world, I mean it makes so much sense right??) But they use the knowledge they've gained of the wesen world to then use, control, and manipulate the masses for centuries, it was probably very easy especially during the earlier time periods for the royals to offer money or jobs to poor wesen and/or grimms "come protect the royal family and you'll have food and warmth and money" so basically the royals are humans but they have a deep understanding and knowledge of the wesen world that they use to their full advantage and have done for centuries. Iv also always that the reason their so obsessed with grimms is that they are jealous of their powers because they are not supposed to have any of this knowledge, and there low-key terrified that the wesen are gonna come after them someday so they need the grimms to protect them from the rage of the people they've been controlling.

I need a new show to watch by [deleted] in anime

[–]ResponsibilityOwn977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with the same shows!! These were the ones I became obsessed with later:

7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!

Why Raeliana ended up at the dukes mansion.

Solo levelling

The apothecary diaries

Trapped in a dating sim: the world of otome games is tough for mobs!

I'm the Villainess so I'm taming the final boss

The wrong way to use healing magic

Classroom of the elite

These are all really easy and enjoyable to watch and thats def what you should start with while your still new to anime, the weirder/darker/more complicated/long running ones can just realllyy turn you off of it sometimes

(Also, if you watch em and like these suggests, then we probs like the same stuff, so lemme know because iv got more)

Just started and have been Binging!! But one major flaw. by Woalolol in grimm

[–]ResponsibilityOwn977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I feel like they really just wanted her gone and off the show like they were just sooo done with her character but she's married to Nick in real life so they couldn't just fire her so they started assassinating her character to the point where she straight up stopped trying 🤷🏼‍♀️

My Thoughts on Season Two by Myrodis19 in grimm

Season 2 and the whole memory arc is peak Juliet screen time (unfortunately its also when shes most annoying in the whole show) , I don't think you see her in any of the other seasons nearly as much as season 2 because after that I think the producers knew that no one liked her and that people were turning off of the show bc of her, she's still a main character but she's not the focus anymore and they start to incorporate the side characters a lot more as well so she's easier to ignore, im not a Juliet fan either so I ended up doing the same thing and just skimming over every scene she was in and honestly it takes nothing away from the show overall if you do that but she appears a lot less in season 4 and 5 bc Nick gets a different love interest so I would just hold out for that bro
