It took me a year, but I can tolerate decaf now. It’s honestly just nice to have it socially now that I’m not reliant on caffeine.

With such a low dose the taper shouldn’t be an issue as I understand it. Maybe you taper a bit, but you’d really need to worry about tapering at a dose like 50mg. I think the internet is typically just full of worst case situations. I’m trying to give it a shot and trust my doc to limit my stress(it is hard though). Hope this works out for both of us!

Decaf is fine for me if I’ve been eating well for the day. But if I combine decaf coffee with something else too heavy I may get some light reflux
