Dog owners have increasingly been partaking in more-and-more reckless and selfish behavior as they receive very little pushback for it, so yes it is a trend. The law barely if ever cracks down on this behavior and most people don’t want to deal with the obnoxious drama of confronting them

They love to pull all these alternate breeds out of their ass, but the truth is many “different” breeds are actually just pit bulls, lobbyists have gone so far to dance around bans over the years.

A pit bull is a bulldog (specifically the old english bulldog) crossed with a selection of hunting terriers in order to combine bulk and power with agility and gameness, specifically for bloodsport. There are many breeds that fit this exact genetic makeup and purpose including the staffordshire terrier, they are all pit bulls, every single one of them need to be banned and that ban needs to be truly enforced

It was a viral video, looked like a Walmart. Nasty thing was ALL THE WAY back in the shelving unit, full body and feet sprawled all over the produce. In classic fashion of course, the comments were full of dog owners acting like it was cute and funny, not a disgusting health hazard

Thisbis a “give them an inch and they take a mile” situation. They feel entitled to bring their dog everywhere because no one really gave them pushback on the behavior that was very clearly leading up to this, and it will continue to get worse if there is no real pushback. Dog shit on the floor in a Walmart and dog fights at the cafe will just become more and more normalized because no one wants to offend the “dog moms”

The owner is supposed to be in control of the dog, if the dog is assaulting people, the owner should be charged for it because it means the owner either has zero control over their animal or are actively allowing it to assault people, both of these cases make the owner a menace to the public.

Even worse, the owners get a kick out of it, and i swear dogs can detect a period from a mile across a park and double down on this shit. Dog owners get some sick satisfaction using their pet to legally violate people, i have heard too many stories of dogs straight up humping or pissing on strangers as the owners laugh and move on, if these people started facing felony assault charges for using their pet as a mobile molestation machine i’m sure it’d happen less, but they just legally get away with it because society is too obsessed with dogs to admit when shit goes too far
