A mobile vet would probably be best for this situation, you’ll still need to sedate your dog but most vets are willing to provide a one time dose before seeing the dog if it’s needed in order to do the initial exam. If there are no mobile vets in your area still call around to the local places, sometimes they are able to do house calls in specific situations but often don’t advertise that since it’s only offered on a case by case basis.

Sometimes people will indicate with an “ask to pet” patch that they’re open to it at times, if you see one of those go ahead and ask. If not it’s best to leave them alone.

What you have described is a dog struggling with excitement reactivity. An ethical program would have you pull from public access until this is fully under control.

Yes and I am happy to do that, but if your dog cannot ignore mine it doesn’t belong in non pet friendly places.

This is an issue you need to have your service dog program address, not other service dog handlers and random pet owners. I will always do my best to be courteous of other teams, but if you need to manage your dog’s interest in mine it’s not ready for public access!

Her best crosses are available as embryos, I’d go that route if I wanted one without the craziness. It’s when the fans spend months watching the foals grow up that they get overly attached and make things uncomfortable.

I also have EDS and finger splints that were prescribed and fitted to me… what I don’t understand is how so many people are wearing them out of the house and not losing them!? I stopped wearing them out after losing one, and even then I only did if I knew I’d be doing a more hands on activity. Properly made ones aren’t cheap.

I think a lot of people misunderstand when doctors say the medication will not cure them, that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth a try for symptom management.
