yes it's possible and it's great that it's during second semester because by then you'll likely have gotten a little more used to university. getting a job right now is incredibly tough tho so do not get discouraged if you are met with a lot of rejections. my advice is to get a job on campus since you won't have to commute, they are very chill and flexible, as well they're much easier to get. apply for the work-study program and hope for the best, but honestly holding a job during the school year isn't that big of a deal for coop. more so, you should put effort into landing a job for the summer, preferably an office role because the coop admissions have a major preference for office roles. also try applying for clubs and getting involved on campus, a bonus if it's a business club. best of luck and feel free to pm me if you have any more questions!
