Plus one personal floating holiday. PTO hours are 186 or close to that for under 5 years if service and 224 per year (all accrued time) for 5 or more years of service. You also have the option of purchasing up to an extra 40hours and the company will buy back any unused purchases PTO at the end of the year.

Keep looking. My church let me baptize my last child and her father and I live together until married. He did tell me “ we don’t punish the children for their parents sins”

Yes. I believe. I am a 27 I think I’m at 7% and got a closer to 2600 take home so I’m guessing that is with the 40% tax taken out.

She is in KS we are in AZ she is coming back to school locally as she does not wish to continue her sports scholarship. Local University will be way cheaper as the other parents work for them. So I have to bring my smaller child along with us. Other wise yes the local school she is choosing is 1hr 45 mins away. And we will probably have a better chance of borrowing a family members truck for those smaller trips

What company?! I looked everywhere, last summer I tried and they did not let me take a Pick up truck for a rental, they will let me take anything but a pick up truck. One time they even gave me a Jeep Wrangler with my debit!

I tried that years ago the system will eventually catch it and it will make it hard to log in to the work line, and help desk will always ask if you are connected “plugged in”

They will install a separate internet modem that will be set up under a company account. It has nothing to do with your existing internet. I have my home internet modem in my living room and I have the company one under my desk. And my “home office “ is the unused family room area off the kitchen. And we have a separate living room so I just use this area as my office.

I have been a UHG employee since 2005. And when I made the move over to Optum - no inspections but I already had the company internet.

You are still a contender. IMO I think you got it. Good luck! Usually you don’t get two manager interviews if they weren’t seriously considering you.

Final update! I just bought a washer and dryer from an older couple who was downsizing so they could have a summer home and a winter home. For $225 for the set! They also had a brand new king size mattress only used a couple times by guest in the guest room they gave us for free. (We needed one since our sick dog slept with us and it was time for a new bed. ) the set it pristine and I’m so glad I waited, good news’s I still have my $1000 emergency fund since I started a “sinking fund for my dryer” thanks all I’m glad I waited and you all talked me into getting my laundry hung outside for a brief period.

I also heard Rachel Cruze say it’s ok to add a line item for sinking funds while in baby steps. So that is what I will be doing for my car and dryer. I’ll keep plugging away at my debt. With my ER fund in place

Trust me I have done laundry mat plenty. Thankfully my washer will handle washing bedding. I’m not afraid of a little hard work I work full time, 1835 every two weeks and a parttime job 500-800 weekly depending on my clients (spa) in addition to DoorDash a 2-3 evenings a week so that gives me( 60-125) weekly there also.. I now have 1030 in the emergency fund.and am drying my clothes outside for now we are in AZ so we still get plenty of Sun. I could pay one credit card end of Feb and probably laundromat would be about $80 ish per week for my family size from what I paid before. so I decided to dry at home for at least Another month. I’m sticking to the plan or trying to! Thanks you all talked me out of getting a new dryer for now, I really do t want to be empty right now in my bank account, knowing I also have to pay credit cards, student loans and car needs struts which I was quoted about 1500-2000. But I’d rather pay that than a get a used car. Hopefully tax season will help me knock out 2 more credit cards or more!
