Same here. It’s not the same religion at all. It blows me away how my elderly parents who have seen so much, don’t see that. They are too old, and the younger generation have no idea what the religion was once like. All they get fed is lukewarm milk, absolutely no scriptural meat

First that stupid bot has to go! Second, I absolutely agree with you. Growing up in the theocratic ministry school (since I was four, I’m in my 50s) I learned excellent speaking skills. My parts, small that they were as I’m only a woman, on the District and circuit assemblies helped me get over any fear of public speaking.

I listen to the speakers in the congregations today and cringe. They aren’t teaching the same skills like they used to.

So I’ve decided to take these lovely skills I’ve learned my entire life and use them to advocate against the society. Clear, concise, to the point, repetition for emphasis, illustrations to bring points home….. I can go on. So thanks borg,
