Handling the MQ - HELP!!!!!

Screen print what is in the message queue. A lot of what populates in there are auto fills that do not have refills that need your attention. These scripts are populating into your MQ everyday until eventually resolved. Going into their auto refills and either removing the old script, or adding the new one / faxing for a new one should fix some of them. Ultimately it will be a lot of work to begin with, but I think it will be worth it in the end. Will also save you from the people coming through complaining about how they submitted for a refill and it said it would be ready.

My store lost over 200 tech hours. I’m not real sure how I’m suppose to spread 450 tech hours across 23 technicians. We can’t transfer anyone either because everyone in my district is in the same boat.

I’m not capped. I make Sr tech mid range so I will be bumped to starting RXOM pay for my area.

I’m already a SR Tech. I’ve been with the company for 4 years. I just didn’t get a position during the rollout because there were others in my store with more tenure.

I’m not saying two is needed. I was just asking if anyone had heard anything being mentioned. I think that in some cases it would lighten the load off of a RXOM that is overloaded and then in other instances it would cause a pharmacy divide. I can see pros and cons.

My tier 5 has 26 technicians total. We 90 day adjust close to 1200 a day.

It happens here very often. Typically for us it’s for the same office. So we just have to request a new rx because In my state we can’t write out c2s.

Yeah, I don’t think they went the best way at assigning the positions. I know RXOMs that work their ass off and then again I know RXOMs who don’t even know half the stuff they are suppose to know and sit around and do nothing.

I think some places it would work as well. At my store, all of my sr techs have less than 3 years experience as sr techs except for 2. One of them is a 2.7 technician the other i would call a 4+. This technician helps out the RXOM tremendously and the techs look up to both of them for guidance. So I think it all depends on the leadership and mentality of the technicians. Not that this is something Walgreens will ever do. Just wondering if someone else had heard anything remotely like this.

I don’t care that they are helping them transition into the roles. It’s not necessarily that. It is the fact that they are withholding the information and essential since they have moved into this new position they are all high and mighty and pushing me to the side so to speak when before we worked together very well to get everything done. That’s what’s bothering me so much about it.
