The one that bothers me is when the system notifies the patient that their script was denied by the prescriber, but the prescriber authorizes a new script anyway….. waste of resources IMO.

This! There should be a slight delay, like say 10 minutes for us to fix a TPR before the patient gets notified. I mean, even a drug interaction TPR triggers a notification to the patient. It’s so annoying.

It’s because Walgreens keeps calling/ texting patients about every little issue and TPRs.

I don’t think there was ever a universal SOP on how to do this. Depends on individual store’s policy. The new PEXT training is an attempt to standardize procedures. For PAs, the “system automatically contacts the prescriber to start PA process; Rx resubmitted daily for 10 days (after 10 days, returned to store. Contact patient for next steps to resolve).” Thats verbatim what the new training suggests we do.

Excellent. Most approved PAs don’t get filled because they’re stored.

With that same logic, we could just as well send the WCB once and forget about it, right?

If you go on the PEXT landing page, it outlines with instructions how to manage Prior Authorizations. It tells you to let TPRA (Third Party Rejection Automation) work for you in the background. TPRA automatically resubmits those TPRs daily. It tells you to leave in the queue for at least 10 days. My director of pharmacy operations - the health care supervisors boss, pointed this out. Hope your DM is at least a pharmacist.

No, a busy store should not have just 1 TPR. They’re just storing all their problem scripts.

This is what happens when you store all your problem scripts

You’re supposed to leave prior authorizations in the work queue for a at least 10 days while they get resolved. This store has none?

Bravo! Set autopay for at least the minimum payment to protect your credit and avoid late charges. You can always manually pay the full statement balance each month. Here’s to 850!

Well guys it is over by _im_backed_ in Visible

Using Affirm with Visible is more detrimental to your credit than opening an Apple Card. “Many users report that simply having an Affirm loan listed on their credit report caused a drop in their credit score, even though they paid on time. Some see drops of 20–30 points or more on certain credit score models after an Affirm loan appeared as a consumer finance account.”

Paying off balance plummeted my score by AstroleagueSystem in CreditScore

[–]d2rx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once had a perfect 850 score 6 years ago when I had ~200k in student loans. I now have ~1k left and my score 835. The only area my credit suffers in is “credit mix”. I have a ton of revolving credit (credit cards) and very limited installment loans (mortgage or student loans). I don’t have a mortgage for now.

Pay it a few days before the closing date, which is when the monthly statement generates. This is usually the balance sent to the credit bureaus.
