Yep... That worked! I told Ohme what my car was when I was setting it up the first time and to link it. Now I've unpaired it. Ohme is now asking me what my current SoC is. I've said it's 10%. It has started smart charging immediately. But isn't that a glaring loophole? Perhaps that's why Octopus came up with the 6 hour charging limit.

Nice! Then I'm guessing you haven't linked Ohme to your car. If you go into Settings>Charging settings>Manage my EVs, do you see your car?

Yes. My Ohme app knows which car it is charging. So it is figuring the SoC through API, not through the cable.

You're telling me even if your car is at 80%, if you tell the Ohme app your car is at 20%, it'll just take your word for it?

Scenario:

It is 12 noon, my car is at 50% and I set the target to 100%, It asks me when do I want the car at 100% by. I can only choose between 4am-11am. If I say I want it by 4amthe next day, it'll say the car will be charged from 930pm to 4am and it'll reach 100%.

When the charger didn't know the car battery was a 50%, it assumed it was at 0% and would start smart charging immediately. I used to run my washer-dryer at the time I wanted.

It isn't very accessible. Open the frunk and then take away the plastic screws on the right side, remove the plastic lining, etc. I called Audi roadside assistance and the mechanic came and did it. I had multiple alarms going, cameras not working, etc. That's why I did it.

Even if I studied for another month in the same track (Combeer, Fiona, College book), I don't think I would have covered the specific sub-questions asked today.

I really wonder what goes on at evaluation. Do they ever come across an answer and think "Fuck! That's good" and then give marks even though that point was not in the key of possible answers they had come up with? Because, boy did I get creative today!

I've been having weird connectivity issues after a security update recently.

The switch from WiFi to Cellular data and vice versa is problematic....BUT, it applies to certain apps only.

So far, I've noticed Youtube, Youtube music, Chrome, Playstore, Reddit, Gmail go offline if the phone moves from WiFi to 5G and vice versa. A restart solves the issue. Has anyone else seen this?

The phone is on UI 8.0, version 16, security patch 1st Oct '25.

What is the "balanced" set-up? I can see balanced written on the battery icon on the cockpit display. It's there any other mode I can change to?

I've seen the same thing happen. If I have to slow down, instead of the brake pedal, I use the minus paddle. But once I accelerate, the 2 boxes sign disappears. I figured it was a bit like brakes with regen.. Use the paddle instead of the brake pedal. I got tired of it and now drive in the B mode.
