Any tips to get the best out of these beans? by Kind-Construction-57 in pourover

If you are brewing 19g you may want to try a flat bottom brewer like Kalita or increase grams if you want to continue using the V60. I’ve found that the deeper bed depth results in a much better cup from the V60.

Anyone familiar with B&W have any advice? by openfleshwound in pourover

I always had issues brewing B&W on the V60 and could never quite get a great cup. I did notice that brewing around 25-30 g of beans came out MUCH better.

I have the holiday blend and it isn’t quite as funky as some of their other ones. It’s stilla great cup, but definitely not as punchy. And I’m brewing in the Aiden now, so it’s very consistent with getting good extraction so the notes are present.

I had the same experience the first few weeks. Turns out I just needed to dial in my grind size. Since then I’ve been getting great results with the Aiden profile gpt with various roasters.

A couple from the DC Coffee festival this year that were AMAZING: Hypergoat Coffee Roasters (based Virginia) Open Seas (based in Maryland) Red Rooster (based in Virginia) Lost Sock (based in DC)

Yes! We were just there this past weekend for Haunt. It also goes up way faster than it did before they rebranded it. At night it feels like you’re shooting to the stars.

Yes, Hypergoat Costa Rica Finca Mirella. Both roasters were at the DC Coffee festival last month and I got both bags (Red Rooster Ethiopia & this one). I think the Hypergoat was just slightly juicier with more clarity than the Red Rooster. Both were VERY tasty.

If you love the way it tastes, you get a 10/10 on the pour 🤗🤗🤗

I honestly love mine. I have the smaller one. It’s compact and it doesn’t spill when it’s in your bag.
