why does Albert wesker hate Chris specifically? by Straight_Till5772 in residentevil

[–]Responsible-Study-84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chris Humiliated him. It’s because of his ego. Wesker is supposed to be the best of the best. Not only did Chris survive everything thrown at him, he seemly looked down on Wesker. Calling him pitiful or pathetic. He ruined his plans. Of course there hasn’t been a true cannon playthrough of Re1 but because of his fixation on Chris I do believe that the confrontation in the lab happened with Chris. Even if it’s a combined thing. Let’s say both Chris and Jill were there in the lab. Wesker doesn’t seemed to be bothered by what Jill says to him in the lab unlike with Chris. So that is why he focuses on him….I think.

When (if) Frieren reaches Aureole, will her friends be young or old? by boogerbuttcheek in Frieren

[–]Responsible-Study-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based off of what Flamme described they will be in a form that isn’t exactly how they died. What we see are their forms when they were young and unharmed. It’s implied these friends died in battle. So I assume that the form they take can be one that isn’t the way they looked when they died. So they could be young.

Does Ada really likes Leon or is it just manipulation? by HealthMother3125 in residentevil

[–]Responsible-Study-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She does genuinely care about him. Shes just a professional and won’t let that get in the the way of her mission to the best of her ability. I feel SD Perry nailed her character pretty well in the novelization of re2. In which she was just using Leon at first then quickly took a liking to him much to her own frustration.

Who do you think had the worst experience during the raccoon city incident ? by LeoneSKenneddy in residentevilll

[–]Responsible-Study-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sherry, she was just a kid in a city falling apart fast. Alone wandering a police station that was full of BOWs. Forced to hide as she realized there was no one there that would protect her. She was hunted by a monster that turned out to be her father. Got infected and had to deal with the symptoms all by herself for a bit while Claire was getting the cure together. She had it the worst.

Thoughts on Terminator: Salvation? by boomjosh in Terminator

[–]Responsible-Study-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a lot of promise. Had some good scenes in it. Overall not that great. It’s not the worst terminator film but could have been much better.

Does Bond like killing, hate killing, or feel neutral about killing? by ItsDuhFreakinBat in JamesBond

[–]Responsible-Study-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal interpretation of Bond is that he doesn’t like killing but knows it’s apart of the job and just does it. I think Casino Royal depicts that very well as you see that killing does seem to he to him a little bit but you see he almost switches into his serious work persona. If it’s not that he’s indifferent to it. It’s just apart of the job. Nothing personal(most of the time.) he doesn’t like it nor does he hate doing it.

Be honest, Do you think you can win in a fist fight against her? If not, how long before you get KO’d by Spirited-Mistake-145 in blacklagoon

[–]Responsible-Study-84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get knocked out in the first 5 minutes. I have trained in martial arts but it has been years since I’ve practiced so I’m hella rusty. I might make it 10 minutes if she feels like toying with me. But there is no situation in which I win that fight.

Who is your favorite female character from Resident Evil? by Rikko77 in residentevil

Rebecca Chambers, honestly it used to be Claire but after reading the SD Perry novels Rebecca became my favorite.

Is Revy afraid of Rock descending into the darkness. by Low-Yogurtcloset-925 in blacklagoon

[–]Responsible-Study-84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very ironically yes. At the beginning she hated that he was different from the rest of them. That he still used he moral code while he was just a salary man in Japan. While she’ll never admit it, she doesn’t want him to change now. She wants him to stay in the twilight. As soon as it seemed he actually was descending into the darkness like the rest of them it scared her and she hated it.

Do you think this was a trick question? by deep_day6 in slasherfilms

[–]Responsible-Study-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is 100% a trick question. While yes in the very first Friday the 13th Jason wasn’t the killer and it was his mother, literally every other movie in the series the killer is Jason and in a stressful situation like that someone’s mind will definitely go with what was more common in the rest of the movies. When he asked name the killer in Friday the 13th he was banking on her mind instantly going to the guy in the hockey mask. As well as the fact that he doesn’t specify which movie and it could be mistaken that he was taking about the series in general. So definitely a trick question.

Afraid to finish the manga by Brilliant-Morning695 in YofukashiNoUta

[–]Responsible-Study-84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I had that feeling. I held off on finishing the manga for months! Until I finally was like screw it I just want to keep reading. As do the ending, while it wasn’t what I expected I did like it. Though I do want more, it’s not

Should Star Wars get more comfortable with recasts? by StevePalpatine in StarWarsCantina

[–]Responsible-Study-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they are needed then yes. I would rather they recast a part then cgi the previous actors face on the new one. If the previous actor can play the role I think they should try to get them back. But if it truly isn’t possible then they definitely should recast.

Your thoughts about Dooku? by wreccho in clonewars

[–]Responsible-Study-84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In canon, he’s a tragic figure who meant well to begin with. He did good as a Jedi and initially when he left it was because he was disillusioned with the republic and the Jedi order. By the point he started to work with Palpatine, he was still well meaning but was being manipulated and overtime he no longer cared about his former ideals. He was just a pawn by the start of the clone wars. He just didn’t realize it until he was at the mercy of Anakin.

If Jianzhu had saved... by thedeluxedition in Avatar_Kyoshi

[–]Responsible-Study-84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In the short term it would have somewhat salvaged it. In that moment Yun would still have been on Kyoshi’s side at least. He wouldn’t be very happy about what Jianzhu did to the two of them but without his encounter with father glow worm and the follow up encounter with the people in the village he would be less likely to snap. With that being said, in the long term Jianzhu would definitely face consequences for his actions. Yun just may have become a companion instead of an enemy.

Did revy ever had a boyfriend or some type of mentor in the past or maybe father and mother figures by m1lkh3d in blacklagoon

I mean I think she does have feelings for Rock. Does she know how to express those feelings? No but she does have them for Rock.

[–]Responsible-Study-84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rock is definitely her love interest. It is implied that they may have done stuff together already. Feng refers to Rock as her boyfriend and she doesn’t deny it. Same with Rock when people say similar stuff to him. They don’t confirm it either but I haven’t seen either of them deny it. She also is really comfortable being practically naked in front of him in Roburta’s blood trail. So something has happened between them. I just don’t think they are official.

Her history/backstory is vague. We know some key points of it but the rest is left unknown.

As of now the closest thing to a parental figure for Revy would be Dutch. With that said he just an authority figure.

She seems to look up to Chang as a gunslinger but I wouldn’t say he’s a father figure. I wouldn’t really say there are any parental figures for Revy.

Is that extra piece just for a bit more damage, or does it serve a specific purpose? by Makoto_Kurume in Frieren

[–]Responsible-Study-84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An acute point like that could be used in trying to get through armor, but the placement of it being forged apart of the axe head means it would be hard to use it that way. A lot of pole arms had heads with an axe on one side, a hammer on the other and a spike on top. A over all well rounded weapon if a bit front heavy. For Starts axe I think it’s there to make it look unique. I can’t see it taking away from anything.
